They almost completely whored themselves out. Extra whore points for bringing back and ruining an old franchise.

I wish they hadn't made it for the older systems, b/c the graphics are sub par for real 360 game. I want a beautiful platformer.

I would much rather have a bad Sonic game, over a PS3 game of this loser.

Last generation ruined so many potentially good franchises...Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon..funny how all of them originated on the PS1...just goes to show that releasing a sequel every year doesn't work.

lol, i remember when my favorite game was crash bandicoot, i even remember when i bought it on the ps1. i said "hey, this game looks pretty fun" and from then on it was my favorite game. when crash 2 came out i had an amazing time, its only flaw was it was so short! crash 3 was very good as well, adding a bit of uniqueness to the gameplay and some new styles. then the ps2 saga... crash : wrath of cortex was a complete crash 3 clone, all in all, so i was like wtf. crash twinsanity was actually alright, but thats just my opinion. this game looks flat out terrible, its not even a platformer anymore! i long for the original crash games T_T

I used to/still do love the original Naughty Dog Crash Bandicoot games, it's just a pity the series went so downhill after they left to make Jak. Same with Spyro. I'll just stick with my Ratchets and Jaks for platformers ;-)

true, the jaks and ratchets were amazing, and ive thought of a new catch phrase : screw vivendi, mad-dog's trendy!

also, i hope that mad-dog makes some cool xbox 360 platformers :) i can dream...

@ 12: You mean Naughty Dog dontya?

The game doesnt look too new or too interesting. I was just thinking the other day how wonderful it would be if Naughty Dog retook the Crash Bandicoot franchise and resurrected it. Ah well...

And for the people complaining about the graphics just take note that the version shown off in the video was the PS2 version. Expect some kind of graphical boost for the 360 version (and the Wii to a lesser extent).

Eh. Looks bland and uncreative.

Sure, Crash looks as hyperactive as ever. But it looks like the original (Read: fun) gameplay has long since been forgotten.

RIP Crash Bandicoot 1-3.

I never did like this franchise, even on the PSOne.

Hijacking monsters? In other words, it's a complete rip-off of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, which is a can of mediocrity in itself.

Crash Bandicoot games were the only games that my wife and I would play together. For whatever reason she just absolutely loved playing Crash games. I showed her this trailer, however, and she is as sad as I am that they've screwed up the franchise so badly... I mean, come on, Crash "posessing" larger beasts so that he can fight and do magic? Just keep it simple, a good 'ole spin attack and maybe a shoulder mounted fruit cannon.

How funny that Crash used to be a Playstation exclusive published by Sony, and now its on everything *except* Sony's main platform.

@Evan.

Naughty Dog sold the franchise to another developer. What'd you expect? rating wise, Bandicoot score went up but shortly after it was moved, the scores kept going down lol xD

Maybe this time around, it would be good. Either way, People will buy it.

I never understood why Vivendi took the license away from Traveler's Tales. Crash: Twinsanity IMO was right up there with ND's platformers.
I'm guessing the only reason for the series reboot is because Radical had this great idea for a game, but since it was an original IP, publishers didn't think it would sell and so they asked Vivendi(or vice-versa) if they could make a crash game out of it.

Whatever, I'll probably still buy it anyways

Neato, looks like a 3d version of Little Nemo: Dream Master from the NES. I'll have to check this out since I enjoyed the PS1 Crash games and I've been waiting for a Nemo follow-up since the early nineties.

Hmm... the PS1 Crash games were my favorite, but once Naughty Dog turned them over they were horrible (excluding Crash Twinsanity, game still rocks). But this game just may be fun... I hope.
