I agree, Sleep mode is awesome. My system is never fully turned off, I always just go into sleep mode. Its great when you get stuck at a point in a game and you want to take a break from it without losing your place. You get to go back to it, and pick it up right where you left off. Its one of my favorite little features about the psp hardware.

I'm another one who loves sleep mode. Also, extra batteries for the win! I got one of those extended life batteries on eBay for 12 bucks. Best purchase on ebay to date.

Sleep mode rules, but in all fairness the DS has this option as well when you close the lid. I went a year without powering the PSP completely down. It's just normal for me to switch to sleep mode versus turning it off.

^??? How old are you kid? 12?

Yeah, sleep mode is handy, especially when the battery dies.

The best part about sleep mode is I can pick up watching Death Note right from where I left off. Oh and resuming my games is kinda cool too.

Sleep mode is an awesome feature. But I couldn't go for long without turning my PSP actually "off"; as in not sleep mode but hard off. Because if I put it in sleep mode too many times during certain games like Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, it'll freeze & turn right off.

What I really love about sleep mode is that you can listen to music, pause it, let it go into sleep mode & press play on the remote & it'll resume where the song was paused. Just a really handy feature.

The replacable battery is another underrated feature. Most small devices like an iPod have their battery built in, when it starts to wear down & not hold its charge, it's much harder (if not possible at all) to replace the battery.

I'll voice my "I love the sleep mode" comment. Only time my system's "off" is when it resets for an update or somethin. Sleep mode is a really, really nice feature. Something I would have loved to have had in the Gameboy era...

Also, Region-free FTW. I just got through getting my PS2 import friendly for Guilty Gear Accent Core, only to find that a localized version will be coming soon... I've imported 3 games for the PSP, Bleach 1 and 4, and DJ Max 2. Those probably won't be the only ones either...

As for custom soundtracks, its hard to count that one since there aren't very many games that use it. Maybe one, I think? I know the new Wipeout game will, but still. I'd like it in all my games!

I've got all my gamesaves backed up on my PC in case of problems. I love how easy it is to do that!

Good list, keep 'em coming...

Sleep mode is great - and I love the associated 'hold' function - keeps things in line.

The problem I have with sleep is not a PSP problem but a 'lazy dev' issue - a few games (Madden '07, Chile Con Carnage, Call of Duty PSP, and a couple others I can't recall) take ~20 - 30 seconds from me hitting the wake-up button until they respond. One thing I love with sleep is the ability in most games to just switch it on and play - doing that Dungeon Maker now! So making me wait 30 seconds sort of kills the appeal of sleeping in those games.

As for the custom soundtracks, sure only a few games support it now, but it is a great feature that enhances the ones that do because of the high sound quality of the PSP.

When you said more and more games allow CS. Not really. I have like 11 PSP games and they all do not support Custom Soundtracks. I rented a ton of PSP games in the past year and I've only seen 2 of them with CS. Wipeout and NFS Carbon.
