I don't think this is coming to DS or any Nintendo console in general. I don't see a Nintendo logo in the trailer =/

I am getting it for PC of course.
It looks cool,almost like a RPG, not a TBS.'
I would REALLY like era lock, like say you are locked in 300 B.C or 1400 A.D or even 2000 A.D.

@Icarus & zwarrior
Quote from SId Meier:
"We are excited to take advantage of the power of next generation consoles and the ingenuity of handhelds, to create a great and unique strategy game for newcomers to the series, as well as the millions of fans around the world who enjoy Civilization on the PC."

Notice the pural "handhelds"? That means PSP & DS. If anything is uncertain it's the Wii – since it's not entirely regarded as a "powerful next generation console".

At #1: I think that the Wii and DS versions will be completely different from the console and PSP versions because of the touch on DS and motion on Wii; it will be built like two different games.

Just like The BIGS...

Tobin92,

You say that you will be getting this for PC... Um... Why not just play Civ IV? It is PC exclusive, and has been released for some time. In fact - being that this version will only be for consoles and handhelds... I think Civ IV is your only option...

But it's late, and potential satire may be lost on me...

Ya, I have Civ 4....I find it unbalance and broken at times. In wars, allies never help. Not to mention units are odd and unbalanced when archers kill modern day soldiers and barbarians kill tanks.

@tobin92

It's not unbalanced, the Ewoks killed stormtroopers and AT-STs.

Long live Civilisation

Uh, Accidental. None of the current consoles out are next generation, they are current generation (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii). The next generation consoles have not been made yet (i.e. Xbox 720, PS4, Wii part 2). FYI, the last generation is PS2, Xbox, Gamecube.
