It actually might be a cool game. I might pick it up just for the multiplayer option.

I also wish there was a light RPG (ala Diablo) for XBLA.

Combat looks TONS better than Oblivion. If that turns out to be true, its a purchase. I hate the combat in Oblivion.

Meh, it's still not on my radar, though at least now I know its name. I mean, "mounted combat", that is so epic and new! **rolls eyes**

Preorder? PREORDER?!?!?!? Why, that's the biggest scam of them all!!! Screw Gamestop and every other retailer that offers to hold your money so they can set aside a copy of a game for you later. That is the biggest injustice EVAR!!!!!!1!!!!!11

It looks decent. I read some hands-on of the game from someone who got to play about 20 hours of it. They said it was fun but had a lot of issues, most revolving around balance. There were apparently ways to very quickly and easily hone your character into an indestructible force. Hopefully those get resolved in time for the launch.

The graphics are okay for a game of that size and epicness ;) I mean, Oblivion didn't look THAT much better graphically.

I'm going to rent this game. If it is fun I may buy it. The developers have claimed the world is larger than Oblivion, has more sidequests, more dungeons, and more varying gameplay and missions. They also claim to have added a lot of humor. We'll see.

@5 I remember back in the good old days Electronics Boutique used to hold/put aside games for you (me) for FREE. They also sold Amiga computers. Boy, times have changed.

I've heard nothing but bad about this game. Watch the gameplay videos. Nothing but people twirling weapons around like ribbin dancers. The spell casting looks lame, and in many ways it all seems BEHIND Oblivion as far as how much it offers.

@Scumdog,

When's the last time you wanted a game that wasn't readily available at any other electronics store the day it came out? Preorders are stupid and primarily for people who like to go on the internet and brag how they already have their copy of some new kickass game reserved.

I'm getting it to play with friend/s, but I'm not sure if *anyone* could play it and say it was the most epic game ever. Some people do, however, feel the game will be the sleeper hit of 2007. And by coming out against Too Human, Blue Dragon, and BioShock, it just might have that sleeper part to it.

Knowledge has most certainly been dropped.

I wasn't so sure that this game was going to be all that epic, but why would Topware Interactive lie to me? Lucky for me that I read this because it will surely change the order of my "epicRPG.xls" spreadsheet.

The international release was awful. They better have used those two or three months very wisely to balance, bug-fix, and tune this turd.

I'm gonna play the game, but the graphics look a little weak right now. This game brings to mind Arx Fatalis which was touted as one of the greatest RPGs ever, but was easily one of the worst games I've played.

Arx smelled low-budget and Two Worlds gives off that same vibe...

Still, I'll be picking up my copy after I've finished with BioShock, Mass Effect, Half-Life 2, and GTA IV...

If by Epic they mean free horse armor out of the blocks, then yes. They have officially met their epic quota.

hmm, maby it should copy one of the GOOD Elder Scrolls games, not the one that gave you less freedom then the original Rockman.

Played it on PC. The best part of the whole game was the uninstall screen.

The character models, animation, lip sync, and just about everything else graphically are horrendous. I do have to say that the gameplay matches the graphics perfectly: craptacular.

I'll never trust another RPG that claims to be the "most epic" after Fable. Man was that a load.

You could change your hairstyle though. If this game doesn't have that, how can it be the most epic?

Don't push this crap. The story? Has anybody heard what the story is? Hmm. I didn't think so. Any RPG gamer will tell you what Fallout is about, but dime-a-dozen Fantasy RPG that use stacked spells as selling bullet-points can stay in the bargain bin.

Ugh. I'll stay oh-so-very-content with Overlord. Thanks.

Preorders serve one main purpose: to gauge how many copies to order so that copies ARE readily available for those who have not preordered. It's simple really: if I have 10 preorders, I'll order 20. That way no one comes to the store and cries me a river because he drove 30 minutes in the traffic just to get that particular game at my store because he's a loyal customer blah blah blah. I say PREORDER, fools.

I think Japanese RPGs have to go. Way to many half-naked femminine boys running around with gelled hair crying about their inadequacies. I STILL love Oblivion, but this game looks like crap. The logo is screaming of another epic western MMO...hm...

This is the most dissapointing game that i have bought in a long time, possible due to the fact i had it sent over from europe. This looks like it has been made by a class of preschool children. The graphics are terrible even at max, the characters are ridiculously unrealistic and look like they are from the original might and magic. The fighting is SO boring and gammy to control. The textures look as if they will fall off the items due to all the bump on them and the character animations look like epileptic fits. DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE VOICE ACTING, I MUTED THE SOUND AND TALKED THE SUBTITLES MYSELF, Thats how bad this game is!!! If i was a pirate i would not even download this game illegally and also i would make it walk the plank !!!! WORST GAME OF THE YEAR
