NetDevil, the folks behind the LEGO MMO, recently announced it will bring "substantial updates" to the company's 2001 space combat MMOG, Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative. The game is to receive a complete graphics overhaul as well as new, more intelligent AI, more weapons, advanced social aspects such as player-owned stations, and a fully controllable economy. Beta registration has opened, so if you're ready for some sexy-looking sci-fi shooting action, Jumpgate Evolution could be your fix.

Looks neat. I would love an MMO that looks so good, but has more action than EVE Online.

there are so many mmo betas going on right now it's rediculous. I'm in or signed up for Fury, WAR, Tabula Rasa, Jumpgate Evo, and probably a few more that i forgot i gave my email to. What's even worse (for me, as in, when these go live and i have to pay for them) is that they all stand to be pretty great games.

Netdevil have been sitting on a gold mine with Jumpgate because the game physics and universe work so well and its about skills YOU learn not the time you burn.
See you there.
