Co-opping a feel with Army of Two video
Reid Schneider, the senior producer on EA's Army of Two, wants this game to be like playing Contra or Double Dragon back in the day with your buddies. Except without the pocket full of quarters, the floor sticky from countless spilled Slurpees, and the nagging fact that you have to get home because mom will have dinner ready soon.
Army of Two is all about co-op gameplay (and only co-op gameplay), and we'll have a first look on it coming up very soon. In the meantime, check out the video and just pretend that it's Contra on steroids. A lot of steroids. Then go get yourself a Slurpee with those quarters you saved.

Except you didn't have to pay ten bucks a month to play Contra with some nooblets from Boise, instead of playing with your actual friends right there with you :(

Why do they mention private military corporations when the last and only modern one (some South African one) was forcefully banned by the UN and made illegal (for some stupid reason)?
Lol, they sound like conspiracy theorists. They almost sound as bad as the Haze devs XD!
no people...the entire world doesn't have to be under some sort of conspiracy veil....:/.

Private military corporations, Black OPs units and MERCS still exist. And just because the UN bans something doesn't mean it's not stil around. Afterall they frown upon nuclear weapons.........and we know how that's working. I remember reading about MERCS traveling to afganistan in search for top terrorists and taliban leaders for the reward money. So the concept of this game is not un-realistic at all. Many things happen in this world that do not make the evening news.

The US is currently using small private military contractors to supplement troops in Iraq. Ever heard of Blackwater USA? http://www.blackwaterusa.com/about/ They have been pretty popular in the news lately. Military Contractors are nothing new are definately a functional part of modern warfare.
