New media has finally surfaced for the underwater Wii title Forever Blue, a still-mysterious game developed by Arika studios (creator of Everblue for the PS2). Little information has been released about the game, but according to an unconfirmed translation, it will be an exploration-based "non-game" where you play with and study sea creatures, hunt for treasure, take pictures, and -- the real kicker -- hunt for underwater sea ruins with a friend via wi-fi. We're thinking Pokemon Snap with whales. Forever Blue is set for release next month in Japan, but no North American date has been announced.

Not a bad looking game for the Wii, but I believe this game would be benefited if it was on the 360 or ps3 with HD graphics and what not... Also, is it game over if your friend via wifi gets eaten by a shark, while you snap away his demise...lol

In Beyond Good and Evil one of the most enjoyable experiences was taking the photo's of different creatures. If the games a more developed version of that, I know I'll enjoy it.
PS. Ubi Soft where my sequel to BG&E?

This reminds me of a PS1 game I used to have on demo, what was it called?
"Treasures of the Deep" that was it.

I hope its as good as Treasures of the Deep for PS1. I loved that game.
I've really been looking forward to this one, I'm glad we finally got some more info on it. I was afraid it was going into gaming limbo

i would like to see at some point developers actually attempt at decent graphics on the Wii, i'm not expecting xbox 360 level graphics but they can do better than whats been shown, they could do better than that on the gamecube come on at least try developers.

Well lookie what we have here Weeboys....at least it is not a bunch of mini-games or a rehashed LameCube or PS2 game.
Some of the screens look OK, but most look like ass. Crusty, wrinkled, full of zits and boils ass.
By Mythmass of 2008, me tinks the fad will have worn off and people will see the Wee for what it really is...a joke and a ripoff.
Until then, have fun gloating about sales Plumberboys.

I'm glad the Wii doesn't have HD. If I had to stare at an ass, It'd better not have HD shit coming out.
Anyway, I think this game is kinda neat... It's like exploring, and I can only think of a couple things that'd make it more entertaining, namely, a harpoon. :)
