"i read Immersion's press release too, but unlike many, i don't base arguments from interested party's press releases."

But it's ok to use a blog writers interpretation of of something found on PSM france that came from maxconsole in your post...makes perfect sense.

Nice. ;)

certainly more objective than a company's sales sheet/press release.

In other words whichever furthers your argument, no matter how far removed or questionable the source is.

Hey what ever works for you.

i said more objective, not more accurate.

if Touchsense turns out to be even half as good as that press release intimates, i will be happy to replace the current half assed sixaxis, and hope that MS upgrades their controller as well.

press releases are superfluous and exaggerated by definition, though for some reason Sony fanboys take them to be gospel.

I'm not a huge PS3 fan, but if this is true then this will be an awesome controller-probably my favorite.

After reading this story and ALL of the above comments I've come to the following conclusion:

As much as I might despise it this website and the daily comments are PRICELESS.

Sony is beyond pathetic...

Wii60 is THE SH*T!

Any possible good PS3 news has an attempted squash on it by the trolls. It's nothing new and you can really start to pick out the real nervous ones. They are the ones that post the most FUD all the time.

All the time.

Aww don't be mad Matt B because you're system's creators are a bunch of hypocrites and arrogant losers.

Face it. You're controller is the same shit that the original playstation had except its black. And it has no rumble which you sony fanboys claimed was "last gen".

When sony actually creates something new or innovative then you can talk all the shit you want but the truth of the matter is that sony is a COPYCAT.

"and hour of victory (an xbox 360 exclusive) got a 2.0
from gamespot!
LMAO!!!!"OMG LOLZ ROFLCOPTER!!11111 Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire (a
PS3 exclusive) got a ZERO from GamingAge, LOLZ HAxxooORz
ROFLMAO!!111!1!!!2@!$13Every system gets bombs, the difference is
that the 360 has enough gems to outshine the sh*t, while the PS3 is
FAR from a confident library to keep even the most dedicated Sony
boys occupied for more than 3 months. Now, don't get me wrong, I'll
end up getting a PS3 at some point, but with how many exclusives are
jumping ship/going cross platform it's only delaying guys like me from
purchasing it/bluray movies/games and supporting the company. Not good news for Sony no matter how you spin it. So
I'd sit down if I were you.

Didn't an english speaking nation came up with the word "flipflopping" ?

Isn't this what Sony is doing?

To all the people making a big deal about Sony saying rumble was last gen etc do you think other consoles don't spin there short comings too. If you don't think so then you sir/mam are naive. There is no problem with having a good laugh at Sony but I hope you realize that the end result is that Sony adding rumble/touchsense makes the sixaxis a much better controller. Probably the best of the lot. By any measure how can that be a loss for the PS3 gamers?

If the sixaxis is indeed updated as described it will allow significant innovation in gaming for PS3 games. I'll give you one example. Left say you are walking through a dimly lit area and someone shut off what little light there is. You could actually feel your way through the darkness with the different areas/sides of the controller rumbling when you bump into a wall corresponding to that side. Another example is being able to tell from which direction someone is shooting you just by feeling which part of the controller is rumbling.

It's not just an add-on guys. It's significant and not realizing that is short-sighted.

Actually MS is very good about replacing/repairing 360's. Their customer service is pretty much top notch. Can't say the same about SONY. I know it's been said before, but remember the PS2? yeah tons of defects so STFU!

I know it is just your opinion and vice versa, but the playstation controller has always sucked. It is uncomfortable to hold and it is basically the same design it has had for a decade. Honestly the 360 controller is Almost perfect (whether you like the system or not.)

Razmataz: No, that was what you call a Republican talking point. In the real world "flipflopping" is completely normal because circumstances are not static. Of course Sony never really believed rumble was "last gen," but they didn't want to admit that the reason the controller lacked a basic feature was a silly lawsuit they could have avoided by settling out of court.

@Spitkicker

So you really think the Playstation controller's design has two generations because it was uncomfortable to hold? It maybe for you, but don't try to pass of what you think as what everyone else thinks.
