Hey Table Tennis was out way before the wii.
I know I should have kept PDZ out of it, it was not a bad looking game...I just hated it. Yeah MotoGp sucks. I just had to throw some kind of list together. Is Dark Sector coming to PS3?

Dark Sector was the very 1st game announced for the PS3 back in 2005. It is the lead platform also.

And I was just flame baiting. I've got nothing against the PS3. I'll probably own one at some point. I am pretty happy with my 360, though.

The backward compatibility is OK right now. Most of the games I'd want to play are backward compatible. But I have no problem just playing them on my Xbox.

Overall, Bioshock and Mass Effect obviously headline, with Halo3 being the ace that will do well no matter what. The only games I've seen that would come home with me tonight would be Dead Rising and Gears though. Maybe Crackdown, that looked like hooligan fun actually.

As for Dark Sector, I know it's coming to the ps3 as well, although I can't say I'm all that excited about it at this point. If it had landed in the last few weeks, or the next 2, I'd probably be more interested. Right now it just looks OK, but nothing stands out as worth really keeping track of given the fact that many other great games will be out by the time it arrives.

My thoughts on multiplatform games that are better on 360? I have to go the whole "lazy developer" route, but I also can't say I blame them. The 360 is obviously much easier to make games for, and seems to be a more flexible platform as far as making games run well. It's the whole 80/20 rule in action overall. FEAR seemed like it was running in a bloody emulator though, I kept thinking "this is still fun, but WHY!!!!" when I played it.
It does seem like ports to the ps3 have gotten much better very quickly though, so it gives me hope for big titles like Assassin's Creed. Doesn't mean I'd preorder at this point though... knowing I'll be getting a 360 around the time it releases has made me reconsider some future multiplatform purchases.

I honestly think that when we see some of the AAA exclusives for the ps3 that we'll be impressed, but I don't think it's going to be as big a difference as Sony wanted us to think it would be. There are several that look fantastic right now (Heavenly Sword and Drake's come to mind first) but we'll have to see how they come together as a whole. I know Sony isn't going anywhere, and I hope this whole thing will be a good lesson when ps4 time comes around.

To end, I'd like to paraphrase something I'd heard that describes the current console war perfectly: "It's like all three sides have dug their trenches, but instead of exchanging gunfire everyone is just huddled in the mud, wanking it as fast and hard as they can to prove they're winning."

Wii fanboys saying how much better their console is...even though it cannot go online, has shit for graphics, and really has no great games now besides Zelda. LOL thought I would change it up a bit though on here....btw I had my 360 die and replaced. Have an extended warranty that lasts till the end of 08 (bought it when I got my launch 360)...but now glad it will now extend into 2009 :)

Anything thats been in the marketplace for a 2 yr period where the manufacturer is forced to offer a 3 yr warranty to avoid a lawsuit {but still doesn't address the issue honestly of whats causing high failure rates}is a piece of shit with pilgrim corn in it. you msfans spent your money and now must live by and defend your stupid purchases. idiots.

I know, I know, the 360 have been reported by tons of websites for having a high rate of failed consoles and all the 360 fanboys try to spin it into no big deal.....but when Microsoft expands the warranty to cover the red rings of death all the fanboys come out the woods saying Microsoft is doing a good job for addressing the RROD, but these are the same fanboys that said that the rrod was no big issue

2 years into the 360 life and we still get Major reports about the rrod, then Microsoft expands the warranty and all of a sudden their heroes, jeez I don't know how about never releasing a mass product (360) that are prone to failure?........the 360 should have never gotten to this point where they had to expand the warranty

I also love those who were on the fence about buying a 360 but this warranty just convinced them to now buy one...........didn't say anything about stopping the rrod, just replacing consoles........it's like have a very deep cut in your arm and you just replace the band-aid every few weeks.....instead of just going to the doctor and getting stitches fixing the problem once and for all...you see what I mean?....yes this is great news for the 360 owners.....but do this stop the red rings of death problem or just prolong it?

The "it is cheaper than a class action lawsuit" makes me laugh, do you really think that the army of lawyers Microsoft employees fighting a few lawyers in court would have cost MS MORE than 1 billion? Guess again; Microsoft is doing the right thing because they have a great brand name and a high corporate trust among consumers... it was the right thing to do and just accept it as such.

Just got off the phone with the Service area, they said that if you have a purchased extended warranty, the red light issue is still covered under that instead. So you don't get the 3 years + 3 years of the purchases warranty. BS in my opinion.

I am still trying to get MS to refund my money for an extended warranty they screwed up that they already said they woudl refund, but haven't sent, out, 6 months now, no money.

I love my 360 but this is getting rediculous.

I dont see how Bill Gates is earning money from this... I think Xbox 360 is going down pretty soon if something doesnt get done about fixing the problem, not just sending another deffective machine over and over, maybe they will learn not to rush things...

Well, I just barely got off the phone with a support representative, and all goes well... There going to cover the cost of the shipping and give me a brand new console for free! This only pertains to people experiencing the 3 red light's of death. But I have to say, way to go MS... I'm glad you did something to prevent me from killing myself >.>
