The original De Blob is about an amorphous alien who wallows in paint in order to restore color to the city of Utrecht. Now the setting has become a little more fictional, trading out Utrecht for a city called Chroma. The student project was well-received enough in its native city for the character to be adopted as a mascot. And now it's been picked up by THQ and is being remade into console versions! How delightful.
