Hopefully it has depth ;) that looks about as fun as ultimate spiderman.. great to start but simplistic quests ruin it.

Nice to see a dailymotion vid on here, half decent quality ftw.

Oh and the game looks plenty good, but having all the building grey sems to make it a little aimless, I think the idea of having the landmarks makes that a little better though. Looks fun, reminds me of JSRF a bit, if the environments gained that same sense of individual character it could really make uncovering it very rewarding indeed.

Guys, if you're not sure how much fun it is, you can (and have been able for awhile) to play it for free on the PC. Go here http://www.fun-motion.com/physics-games/de-blob/

I tried out the PC version. It was pretty fun for a while. Since there's not much to do in that version other than paint buildings and collect coins, it didn't hold my attention for more than about 30 minutes. The Wii version looks like there's a bit more to do. Perhaps it will work. As far as gameplay goes, the closest thing I can think to compare it with is a sort of pac-man crossed with a psycho paint-by-numbers hybrid.
