Podcast Rodeo for July 8: Norman Ear

NooBTooB: If you haven't kept up with the NooBTooB duo this year, there's a perfect way to get started up now, an encapsulation of all the best moments from their first year all reduced to one manageable, 15-minute morsel for the mom on the go. This episode is a video-only cast, by the way, so don't go hunting for the audio.
The Bobby Blackwolf Show: We've always believed that this show hit its stride at episode 99, about 23:50 in, but it's definitely still worth your oh-so-precious time. The show's main draw is that callers can get a chance to weigh in via Skype, but Blackwolf, a slick, well-informed host, is certainly no slouch. This week, hot topics are broken DSs and XBLA discounts.
GFW Radio: Listen, we'd love to stop linking to GFW. We pray for it every night. But as long as the show continues being incredibly entertaining, we find it impossibly to stop showing love. For example, this week's show kicks off with a parody of Eminem's "Stan" as performed by one Shawn Elliot. How do you beat that?
1UP Show: We know we're a little video heavy this week, but we saw the gameplay videos for Stranglehold and Army of Two and our linking reflex was automatically triggered. Seriously. Go watch. They're both ridiculous.
Game-Pron: This episode's a little old (Jun. 21) so you're going to hear some talk about "Banhunt," but we enjoyed this episode enough to want to spur Josh and Whiskey Jim on to record more. GP isn't so much with the slick production (though they promise a new intro is incoming) but both the hosts are really likable. Also, one of them starts eating dinner halfway through, which was surprisingly funny.
That's it for this week. Keep the suggestions coming, friends.

I had one more to add! :)
Last weeks thebbps bitcast was brilliant due in no small part to my appearance on the show. Check it (and other past episodes) out here;

Are you the same Jim Squires who had a band while at TCU sporting the name "The Jim Squires Band"?
Please verify.

I hate this over-used picture.
But apparently this is how Joystiq wants to be known. As the site that puts up the same picture over and over and over again.
Someone should make up t-shirts with this guy and the Joystiq logo.

The old man has been gone for more than a month. People never got to say their good byes, he just disappeared suddenly. Make your peace now, you won't see the Gradold Man again.

I hate people who bitch about a themed picture to a regular segment. I mean seriously, Penny Arcade has had that same logo for years and the font type never changes. They fucking suck, rahr!
But in all seriousness, everytime this grand old man leaves, people want him back. Everytime he comes back, people bitch. Not to mention this is the ONLY regular image for a regular article.
So in other words, cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get over it. I'm an old man fan and I can scroll through the website to find this article easily.

This picture sucks, and I'm tired of talking about this every time it appears.
But anyone who likes the old man should save it, print it out, and put it under their pillow so they can sleep better at night.
