Fish Tycoon devs create new game: Plant Tycoon

Last Day of Work is proud to announce a new Tycoon game. Plant Tycoon "will let players breed and crossbreed plants while they search for six magic plants." We'll let the FBI figure out what the "magic plants" are.

The game, which will be available on both PC and Mac this September, continues a series of unrelated games that have been endowed with the Tycoon title. We're assuming that Plant Tycoon will stray far from other similarly-titled games, such as Hospital Tycoon, Mall Tycoon, and the still-compelling Hell Tycoon.

During a moment, I was scared and thought it was a Wii game.

I thought this was already out for PC. It's been on Palm and PPC for at least 3 years now. Usually, things are ported FROM PC to PDA, not the other way around. I guess Plant Tycoon got released for PPC before Fish Tycoon and vice versa for PC.

I didn't get far in this game. Made some $$, but didn't get any upgrades nor magic plants. I should check back on how I'm doing. I don't believe I remembered to pause the realtime game flow before I played it for the last time. I wonder how plants look after 2 years of neglect? Will there be cobwebs all over my 'store'?

BTW, concerning Joystiq..... an ever evolving site it seems. I'm guessing (hoping) the following will be (re-)implemented......

-ability to change our cute, adorable, but fast getting old Paper Mario avatars?
-the tag that numbered each post? JS users can no longer say things like "refer to post #67 ya dumbass!"

I'm glad they finally removed the numbers, they almost always get misnumbered due to deletions and it's a pain to scroll all over the place to remember who's talking to who.

It's annoying that I can't seem to find where the customization options are though.
