Video: Legendary: The Box announced
15
Spark Unlimited unveiled their latest project which features a Pandora's Box full of mythological creates titled Legendary: The Box. The game is based around the idea that you play a thief who is hired to steal a special box from a NY museum and when you're curiosity gets the best of you, you open said box and unleash what could possibly be mankind's destruction. This Pandora's Box brings griffins, werewolves, and other monstrosities to Earth and it's your duty to shove them back into their box or send them to hell. It's a very interesting concept and quite the interesting trailer as it'll be something we'll keep our eye on in 2008. View the E3 trailer above and read through IGN's hands on preview after the jump.

Needs some work graphically, but they have quite a lot of time yet. The concept is interesting, even if it is another FPS.

I thought this game had excellent graphics, hmmm.. I guess the non hardcore gamers like myself can't tell the diff between good and excellent graphics.

It is an interesting concept by why would a thief feel any remorse/regret enough to try and put them all back in...but hopefully the story will explain that because I definately plan on getting it.

I couldn't get past the name to notice the graphics personally, the way the narrator said it at the end of the video was classic. Gave me a good laugh.

This fall there can be only one...

What, a thief couldn't have morals and conscience? He's not a murderer, he's just a thief - he steals things for personal gain.
This could be a great game - I love the concept, it's definitely original, however, graphics and frame rate do need a lot of improvement. It is too early to judge though.

After reading the description I was hoping for something a little more interesting than another fps :( Sounds like a good candidate for a modern style adventure game.

Am I the only one who read the headline and thought this was information about the packaging the Legendary edition of Halo 3 came in?

I like how they set the bar really low with the title, so they can easily surpass it with the vid!

I thought it was a article about the new X-Box 360 elite, figuring maybe they tried to get creative with the title, but all of that creativity was spent on games.
...
Guess not. Cute concept, but it sounds a lot like "Night at the Museum " to me.
