Konami hints at MGS 4 jumping ship

Talking to Reuters, head of Konami's North American and European operations Kazumi Kitaue expressed their less than optimistic feelings about the PS3 and its latest price cut. "I wonder if Sony can win back user support by the price cut of just $100" Kitaue said, "I don't expect a substantial impact ... With $500, you can buy a personal computer". Very opinionated and strong words coming from a developer who is supposedly creating a highly anticipated game (see Metal Gear Solid 4) exclusively for Sony. So, it's even more interesting and revealing to hear Kitaue's response to a question asking about MGS 4 exclusivity where he goes on to say that "Metal Gear Solid was born for the PlayStation, we would like to keep it a PlayStation game. But we might have to take some steps".

There you go fanboys, we've added some fuel to the Metal Gear Solid 4 is 360 bound fire as it has yet to be drowned out. You're welcome.

Honestly, who fucking cares. For real.
I still don't think it will be ported, but people need to get off of their opinionated fanboyish endeavors and stop talking so much trash because someone likes one system or they prefer another system.
Theyre all just video games.
But I think that wont go over so well with the majority of people who posted here. Oh well.

Dude, I hate to break it to you... but you're talking about "spoiling" a video game by telling us the story? Don't you realize the fun of a video game is in PLAYING the game, not paying attention to the pedantic, poorly written story? You could tell us word for word whatever strange crap Kojima has cooked up and it won't make a lick of difference; his storylines aren't even coherent when you're playing the game. Are you threatening to make his shit make sense or something?

As if this is something NEW, Konami is a company who is into making money like all companies! The flavor of this generation is Multi-Platform gaming and if a company intends to make a profit they will have to launch on more than one system!! MGS4 WILL be out for the 360 and I couldn't be happier!!!

What pisses me off most about all this is the PS3 fanboys who feel it's their duty to come onto this website and flame constantly. It makes me really sad to be a gamer when people see this and think thats what all gamers are like. You know how they say gay-bashers are really suppressing the fact that they're gay, are you really just suppressing the fact that you would much rather have bought a 360 but you wasted your money on the PS3. Or are you just pissed that you had to spend $100 extra for the 60 gig.
