Hey Xbots, I have a question! (Sorry no forums)

Why are so many Xbox "fanboys" haters of Sony? I mean most of the time its just the normal ramblings of a 13 year old hyped up on one of Xbox's 200 FPS's. However just like with the hint of a MGS4 timed exclusive. People were cheering the fall of Sony.

But I ask you why? Bang for your buck Sony gives you so much more then M$. With a failure rate of less then 1% compared to M$'s 33%-50%.
The System via Specs is more powerful then the 360 in every way, however most devs only make shafty Xbox ports for it, giving the illusion of a more powerful 360. (look at oblivion all reviews rate the PS3's visuals, Draw Distance, load times, and frame rate better, it was a good port)

Believe it or not, the PS3's release titles were BETTER then the 360's. Perfect Dark? King Kong? However the 360 had no competition .

So I ask you Xbots, Why do you HATE Sony? I don't understand how anyone would rather own the 360 then a PS3 other then Games, and better online, but I can live with it. But why can't you live with People who know the PS3 is a investment that will last much longer and will be much more rewarding then the 360?

Oh yeah... and I gotta say it, Halo was never that good in the first place.... It really wasn't, just the first console shooter to actually be fun. Sorry my opinion at least!

That trailer was pretty kickass...to be honest i thought i was watching Rock Band stuff because i felt so excited for that before this but now GH3 still seems to be in fighting condition. Also since "Welcome to the Jungle" is in here as well as Slash maybe that means other guitarists with songs in here will be featured. I'd personally like to see Jack Black for "The Metal" (first song of the trailer).

Because the online connectivity isn't a piece of crap, there is a better sense of community, it has better games and I wasn't forced to buy a next-gen movie player along with it.

Why do I HATE the 360? Cuz it broke on me twice. I can't keep it with my Surround sound or PS3 cuz it will overheat, (Prop it up on a Box??? sigh....) And M$ made me pay $80 bucks to get it fixed.

Also Games and Online Play for the PS3 will be much better soon. When will the 360's failures be fixed?

Because while the $ony fanboys keep screaming "Just give it time, The hardware has yet to be tapped" $ony keeps losing exclusives to M$.. so by the time the infamous "year" rolls around, there wont be anything left but Final Fantasy. There just isn't anything to play on the PS3 that's worth spending all the money on.. I bought one a month ago and ended up selling it a few weeks after I bought it because other than Motorstorm & Resistance (both fun games btw) there wasn't anything to do.. BlockBuster NEVER had any Blu-Ray movies in stock so I didn't even have a chance to check the Blu-Ray out.. The interface blows, there aren't any games, it's over priced, online sucks compared to XBL.. And that's about it. And I'm no fanboy, MS has their share of issues, mainly the hardware is buggy in some of the older units, Hell I'm on my 3rd 360 myself. I just think MS has the better product right now and without any real games to support this "superior hardware" the PS3 has why spend the $ on it?

Microsoft is working to get the hardware issues fixed.

I LOVE my 360 because it has really good games, great online capabilities, and because it hooks up to my Media Center PC.

I don't hate Sony, but you can say I 'root' for the 360 because I own one.

Oh, and and all the people that I know that bought PS3s bought them for one reason: They owned a PS2. What games do they play? Madden and NCAA. That's it.

But I ask you, if the ps3 is overpriced, and in the long run, the 360 WILL cost you more, and it gives you LESS. What does that make the 360?

Either way most devs are useing the PS3 as thier Lead Platform now (Cuz it really is more powerful) and Xbox will end up with the Crappy ports.

See I don't care if a game is exclusive or not, I just want the game made for the PS3, so Xbox's hardware isn't holding it back!

Thanks for giving the world your take on video games, what the hell do your opinions state that clearly make PS3 better. Sure the PS3 is a bit more advanced in most of the hardware but again just opinion, good graphic capabilities and framerate, blah blah blah, etc. dont make a game. A game makes itself what it is, not the console. This leads to your next opinion, overall better games. Who said your choice of games was what the whole gaming community should listen to? Yes, Oblivion did have some improvments on the PS3 side but who said thats just because it was on a PS3, maybe the time taken to make it helped it look better. I also think you failed to realize there were 360 upsides as well, which does not make this a PS3 MUST. You than go onto to state, and take note this is after you claim PS3 has better games, "I don't understand how anyone would rather own the 360 then a PS3 other then Games, and better online, but I can live with it." Did you not listen to youself? You than state that 360 has the upper hand on games, AFTER saying PS3 does it better. Now I'm no Sony hater and I've never posted anything on here or PS3F bashing Sony, but I had to comment on your lack of a real argument, but you make it sound like worse games is nothing to worry about when owning a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE. You also stated in there that online play is just a little thing 360 out performs you in yet it's no big deal. This is odd, cause to me Online capabilities is a reletively new and highly wanted thing in todays console gaming world. Take note I'm not trying to bash Sony but you just didn't provide much let alone any solid reasons why PS3 out does the 360. I won't miss out on anything, I do plan to get the PS3 again down the line when it's priced better and there are more good games to play on it. As for spending more on my 360 than I would a PS3, that's false.. If you get an extended service contract (which I don't see why you wouldn't on a new piece of hardware) like I did, You don't have to pay jack if your 360 breaks. So I've not spent anymore on my 360 or anything because of hardware issues.

I have definitely spent more on my 360 than I would have if I bought a PS3...

because there's dozens of games worth buying.

There will not be enough time for the ps3 to mature the way U think it will. It'll be long dead before then. Ull never see games look better on ps3, they are too difficult to develope for. Again, by the time its easy to develope for the ps 3 will be long gone. Everything that has happened to the ps3 since launch has been embarassing to say the least. This is the end of the road for sony, U made a poor investment, and U can take that to the bank.

I'll tell U why. It has nothing to do with MS or the xbox. Sony is getting what they deserve in my eyes for what happened to Sega. Thats right, I preferred the Saturn to the ps1, but hype and some big time corporate cash caused the saturn to fail next to the ps1. Then, the Dreamcast. The dreamcast actually was more powerful than the ps2 in a few catagories and was also Sega's finest machine. Had a shitload of amazing games and still fell to the hype of the corporate machine that is sony. Not only did this end Sega's console days, but it put them in bankruptcy and as a result they were purchesed by Sammy. Now Sega is a 3rd party company which is far from the once leader of the gamming industry in hardware and sales.
Sony is being killed now, by a company that is a bigger corporate giant with more money. It is a fitting end for a company that knew nothing about gamming and took everything over with cash, to be destroyed by the very same thing. Sony deserves this.

wtf do you mean when you say "it'll end up costing you more"? I hope you don't mean warranty because it was at 1 year a long time and now 3 years. So if YOU would have waited then you wouldn't have had to pay anything. PS3 DOESN'T HAVE ANYHTING APEALING. That's the bottom line. And if devs are making their game for PS3 then why are they all losing exclusivity? Katamari is 360 exclusive now. The devs acknowledge the fact that the 360 has a bigger fanbase and a better audience in which to promote games to.

@11 The reason you will spend less overall on PS3 is because you will not buy very many games. I only see 2 games that I would want on the system with a grand total of maybe 5-6 by years end. I have that much budgeted into original games for xbox in november alone. Now if Sony had retained most of the exclusives it lost it might have had a more powerful hand to play. But if it loses exclusivity of MGS then it might just be a glamorized dreamcast. I would buy it on XBOX before considering buying it on PS3.

You don't have to get WiFi though MS, You can get D-link adapters for about $30 or $40. XBL has a free service. And $50 a year for the gold service is well worth it. And you assume "Home" is going to be good.. That's the problem with Sony Fanboys, they assume too much.

Who says the PS3 will give you more in the long run? The 360 is in a very good place right now, and as long as it stays competitive their will always be games for it.

And you say that most developers are making the PS3 their lead skew now? I actually already have a point but I’m wondering where your getting this information from. I’m not doubting you I’m just courius as I haven’t heard anything directly implying this.

If I end up spending more money on my xbox 360 then I would if I bought a PS3 is that really a bad thing? I control what I buy and what I subscribe to. Am I mad that I’m paying $80 to buy great games like Mass Effect, BioShock, or Halo 3? No. Am I mad that I’m spending $70 a year for an online service which is undeniably the best console gaming has to offer? No.

The fact that I spend so much money on my 360 is a testament as to how much I love my system. Only an idiot would continue spending money on something they think is not worth it.

Jldowning...Your comment about developers using PS3 as their lead doesn't make sense to me. How do you explain games like Katamari Damachi and Metal Gear Solid, that were scheduled to be PS3 exclusives going to 360?

Your comment about pricing, yea, in the long run I HAVE spent more on my 360 then I would have on the PS3 is true, but what I got was a better console. Yes, Oblivion looks better on the PS3 then it did on the 360, but it got extra development time, so that makes sense. Virtua Fighter will look better on the 360 when it comes out. I have yet to see definitive proof that PS3's extra power makes the games look better and more importantly be more fun.

PS3 just doesn't have the games to make it worth buying, and I don't think it will EVER surpass the 360. I say this because the 360 had the jump. The 360 has a much much larger user base then the PS3, this will cause almost every developer program for the 360, so there isn't much incentive for me to buy a PS3.

I haven't even mentioned the online experience which is widely held to be the best there is, it's insanely fluid and really easy to use. I don't mind paying $50 a year for a MUCH better experience. You also have to take into account the Live for Vista stuff coming out which will allow console players to play with their PC brothers...Sony hasn't said anything about that yet.

So the only thing I see that Sony has going for it is it's Blu-ray player...I don't want it...I don't want an HD-DVD player either...I just want an upconverting DVD player, the movies are cheaper, and they look ALMOST as good...I'm fine with that...

I don't hate Sony, in fact for the longest time I was a Sony fan-boy, I loved my PS1, and I loved my PS2, but the starting cost for the PS3 just killed it for me...as soon as I heard the price I laughed and waved goodbye...like I said, in the long run the 360 may cost more...but the intro cost isn't near as high.

Oh, and none of my discs have ever been scratched, and 360 now has a 3 year warranty, so I feel perfectly safe with mine. Though I haven't had any problems with it and it's in a pretty small place next to my PS2 and Wii.
