The
Scene It controllers aren't the only cue that Microsoft has been taking from Nintendo lately. The
coral pink Xbox 360 controller, along with the powder blue, just scream for you to pick them up and say, "Awwww." It's just the perfect color for that girl in your life ... or pastel lover. No word when these will release though you'd think there'd be signage or something like that. Just remember,
you can always make your own.

Nintendo?
The Scene It controller is a rip-off of the Sony Buzz controller if anything. They look almost exactly the same.
NukeAssault @ Jul 11th 2007 11:19PM
They should have released these on easter.
BPM @ Jul 11th 2007 11:29PM
Voted up for saying "should have" and not "should of," as well as Easter joke.
Jypson @ Jul 12th 2007 12:11AM
Indeed, looking at them makes me hungry for easter M&M's.

I was interested in the blue one when i saw it posted here http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/07/11/pink-and-blue-controllers-join-white-and-black/
But this blue looks WAY lighter then the blue one posted at 360fanboy. I dont want it if this is the blue colour.
BPM @ Jul 11th 2007 11:28PM
America gets the pink and dark blue controllers. Japan and Europe get those, as well as the light blue controller.
Jon A. @ Jul 11th 2007 11:22PM
It's like the dipped the white plastic of the controller into red and blue food die, and that's what they came up with.
Che @ Jul 11th 2007 11:24PM
What market are they catering to? Don't forget the hardcore online gamers that put you guys on the map Microsoft. And, no, i don't want more Halo themed stuff.
Rubang B @ Jul 11th 2007 11:42PM
With the Microsoft Halo 3 press conference last night, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Halo 3, Halo Wars, that Halo short fim, limited edition Halo 3 XBox 360 for the Halo Nation, that comment that Halo is our generation's Star Wars, and then I swear Peter Moore said "Halo Halo Halo Halo Halo Halo" and some kid's head exploded.
Oh wait, you're not into Halo? Sorry, you're fucked.
Travis @ Jul 11th 2007 11:44PM
Che,
Since you're so upset I want to know what style/color of controller would make you happy? Its obviously not the standard white, elite black, kiddie pink and blue, or even Halo-themed. What is it then? Since you are so "hardcore" would you prefer spikes sticking out of your controller? Perhaps a photo of Peter Moore and Major Nelson? Please. I need to know!
waves @ Jul 11th 2007 11:55PM
I am into Halo (still play the original online on my Mac), but I am painfully aware that it is coming out. The rest of the lineup isn't terribly interesting to me. What the High-Def consoles are really lacking right now are the quirky games that came out on the PS1 and PS2. I got a Wii because most of them seem to be going there, but they could also really benefit from shiny graphics and solid online support. I'm not that interested in the rehashing that's going on now.... Except for Pac Mac CE.
Che @ Jul 12th 2007 12:07AM
@ Rubang, thanks for making me chuckle at my desk.
@ Travis, sorry my use of the word "Hardcore" got your panties in a bunch.
I just want some decent colors, you know like Nintendo always did starting 11 YEARS AGO. I wouldn't mind the pastel Easterish colors if there where more coming down the pipeline. Hmmm, I dunno, maybe green (it IS an Xbox after all), royal blue, red, shit, I'd take yellow or orange at this point. Release them in limited runs if they have to.
I'm just a little peeved that it's either White/Black or these two horrid looking colors. Maybe I'll bye my little sister one, o wait she has a Wii.
@ Waves - I hear you man, every once in awhile i pick up a real gem on the PS2, a void the original Xbox or the new new Hi-Def systems haven't filled.
Rubang B @ Jul 11th 2007 11:39PM
Ooh, those look nice. If I had a 360 I'd definitely pick up the pink one to match my beautiful candy pink Japanese import DS.

Awwww Yeaahh... These are for the Ladies.
Rubang B @ Jul 11th 2007 11:56PM
Nope. Just pink and blue.
terminus @ Jul 12th 2007 12:04AM
Actually, Pink is quite popular with the heterosexual male population as it signifies that you are secure enough in your masculinity that you can actually consider pink to be another colour, alongside red, blue and orange, and not something that is only for girls. Believe me, that pink DS Lite? Awesome. Besides, it is only recently that pink came into use as a female colour. Formerly, it was male, as it as seen as being akin to red, and therefore, more powerful. Here is some reading material on the subject: http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/pto-20070622-000002.xml

@Travis
i believe the most hardcore gamer controller would inject you with caffeine everytime you pull the right trigger so the more frags you get the more extreme you go!
JanJan @ Jul 12th 2007 12:22AM
the bright happy colors clash too much with the dark tones of the thumbstick/thumbpad.
simply put
It's Unfabulous

Brandon @ Jul 12th 2007 2:02AM
Who is this marketed towards... seriously? Since when did halo 3 have pink and blue in it.
THIS DOES NOT PLEASE MOORE'S HALO NATION!!!!!!!
HALO NATION REVOLT!!!!! RAWR!!!!!!111one
baby sea tuna @ Jul 12th 2007 11:18AM
No, but it might please my mom who also happens to be a 360 owner.
Stu @ Jul 12th 2007 8:42AM
They really could've picked some more vibrant colours. I had to do a double take to notice they were not only different from each other, but not the default white.
Sami @ Jul 12th 2007 10:06AM
Aside from being blatantly ripped off from DS Lite colors, those pastels look absolutely disgusting with the other standard colors on the controller. No thank you.
Brandon @ Jul 12th 2007 7:51PM
Its nice to know that nintendo now owns pastel pink and blue. Thanks for the heads-up, I'll inform the media.
Crimson @ Jul 12th 2007 5:42PM
You're right. I bought a pink DS Lite, but I was a little embarrassed because the cashier said my girlfriend would probably enjoy it.
