Rumor: Golden Sun DS images snapped [update]

According to a tipster gobo_4227, the following images are from an unannounced Nintendo DS debut of the GBA's RPG series, Golden Sun. The legitimacy of the images is obviously in doubt, but it does realize some of our far-fetched dreams. Make it happen, developers!

Golden Sun was the game that convinced me to get a GBA. This could end up being a really good thing, especially as the DS is still somewhat lacking in the deep RPG department.

I'm willing to suspend cynicism out of pure desire for another golden sun, especially so I can play as mah Isaac again and beat the crap out of that blue haired jerk!

Especially if it goes a step further and lets you use the GBA port to transfer stuff to the DS game!

Very interesting. There can always be a possibly a prank or something; but, I'd rather believe it to be true. When it comes out, I swear I'll be one of the first ones to pre-order it.

This has convinced me this is fake.

I highly doubt Camelot would reuse existing character art like this.

It's very likely this screenshot was produced with a DS flash cart running a picture viewer.

Man, that would be unbelievably amazing...IF this were true. I'm not buying it. Too many fan boys have been making fake sequels of this series for a long time now. I would love to believe this were true though... :(

Think I'll go play the series through again now...such great games. Still measure up to today's stuff.

Note that the box mock up was made in 2006 using pictures from the Lost Age.

Now look at the "new" Golden Sun game. They are clearly the same picture. Sorry for confusing you.
