Looks interesting, but I wonder what the play mechanics are going to be like?... Just have to wait and see on this one. I like what I see, though! =)

God that was the most predicable trailer ever.
"Save what is left, or destroy it all?". Jesus, please.

I want to see a proper trailer though, one that shows some proper game footage, until then I'll keep this one on the lookout.

Yea fellas, this looks like a Crackdown rip off. Why rip off Halo's bitch? Xbots try hard enough to convince people that that POS is a "solid title". Get this shit outta here...

Damn it. I sure hope this is a classic case of the trailer making the product look terrible. If not, Sucker Punch can do much, much better than this.

I agree with the following things everyone on the websites are saying:

1. This game doesn't look very impressive in terms of graphics.

2. The gameplay seems like it is a copy off of Crackdown on the Xbox 360.

3. There is NO WAY this game will be as fun as Crackdown!

The theme of Crackdown, based on genetically engineered humans with super strength is FUN! It gives you the ability to lift & throw cars, Jump 30 feet, use all sorts of rocket launchers and futuristic weapons. That is something I have never seen in any game but Crackdown in an open environment like that. Crackdown is FUN and FUNNY! With awesome graphics, too.

4. Crackdown may have sold a lot of copies because of people who bought it just to play the Halo 3 beta, but Crackdown is now one of the most played games on Xbox Live! Crackdown is FUN, especially in online Co-Op!

5. This game called Infamous seems like more of a Grand Theft Auto meets Shadowrun sort of experience. It looks pretty stupid the way the graphics are set up with the gameplay. The way the character shot lightnight out of his hand seemed like it would appeal to fans of Dungeons & Dragons more than fans of Grand Theft Auto or Crackdown.

I just think Infamous won't end up being famous. it did not impress me at all. It looks more like a high resolution PS2 game.

This is by SuckerPunch Studios? Those guys did Sly Cooper. And you can see the resemblances. Ratchet and Clank become Resistance; Jak & Dax become Drake's Fortune-- it seems only fitting that Sly would become Infamous.

Still, I found myself wondering... why didn't they make this with Sly? Exact same backgrounds, just with Sly and Friends as Cel, as they'd always been?

Would have been way more interesting, stood out more, stood the test of time more, amidst all these similar games, now.

This would have re-birthed the characters of Sly in a way that would have preserved and enhanced the endurance of that legacy, since the 'upgrade' would have been poignantly better than the upgrades to Ratchet or Jak, a visual style entirely new (to games, not to film-- see Roger Rabbit et. al) that would create copycats of styles and a flourage of cerebral brain function.

whoops
