Attend the Rock Band party vicariously through the magic of video
You've seen the pictures. You've read the psuedo sort-of liveblog. Now, check out Joystiq's exclusive video of EA/MTV/Harmonix's Rock Band Party at LA's historic Troubadour bar. Apologies for the sound and picture quality at parts -- the lighting and speakers weren't exactly specifically tuned for our pocket shaky-cam. Be prepared to turn the volume down ... to 11!

My garage band from 1985 sounded better than this and we were playing Poison songs on real instruments. I'd rather listen to Gilbert Godfrey and Rosie O'Donel have a shouting match as to who's schlong is bigger than listen to this racket.
Thank God I didn't pay money to go to E3 is about all I can say for this year.

Aside from the vocals, the rest is pretty much the actual song playing (Aside from a few missed sections where they're missing notes). Either you can't stand this particular song, or her vocals. Either way, both can be changed.

Oh man, EoDM and QotSA... EA/MTV know how to throw a party.
Do either of those two bands even have songs in Rock Band?

I didn't know this was at the Troubador! One of my favorite venues in LA. It has three bars!

What songs are they playing?

The Rock Band song is Main Offender from The Hives. The same band that brought us "Hate to Say I Told You So." Good album, but short (30 minutes!!). That chick was obnoxious... and look Pete didn't press the pause button this time!
