Really nice. Maybe finally they can make decent games of their licenses like Aladdin did. Also he could write a sort of serious Disney game such as Kingdom Hearts, well compared to Disney KH is serious.

Interesting. One usually associates Spector with much (much, much) more adult subject matter (can't see Disney getting behind the "terrorists are the good guys" story of DX2). But the good news is that maybe he'll now have the cash and support to make the kind of huge and complicated games he's always wanted to do, without getting stymied by a rushed publisher.

Wait, did I just suggest that working for Disney would be *more* artistically satisfying? Kill me now.

actually he already has multiple IPs that were proposed many months ago(disney related)... glad to see this finally go through because one of those ideas is pretty badass.

This is terrible!

Mickey Mouse gets to decide what goes into Deus Ex 3!

Great. Now the only way we'll see a Deus Ex 3, will be if they make it like crappy Kingdom Hearts or something. Nano-augmented Mickey Mouse. Just awesome. I'm really sad to see WS's career go down the tubes like this because he wants to make edutainment games for Disney.

Eidos owns the IP rights to Deus Ex. Not Warren Spector. The only way he could be involved in a new Deus Ex game was if Eidos sold him the rights, or if he started working for them somehow.
