Friday Video: MySims is setting us up for months of addiction
10
Sure, we could have shown some other E3-centric videos here in our weekly spotlight, but we really wanted an excuse to talk a little more about the fun potential of MySims, which continues to bear a strong (though less anthropomorphic) resemblance to Animal Crossing. We even saw a little guy with a shovel in this trailer. Since there has been no real sign of Animal Crossing for the Wii, this looks ripe to tide us over while we wait. Who knows, we may even (gasp!) like it better.
Also, splashing in a fountain sounds pretty good right about now. Oh, July, July ... how you make us long for December.

Dear god this looks like endless fun and (gasp!) even better than Animal Crossing!
I hope to God that this has multiple save slots because I am 100% positive my sister will play this and I don't want her fucking up my town!

This is like Animal Crossing but with MUCH MORE personality, customization, and things to do. I'm definitely getting this.

I fear that if I were to buy either version of this game (DS version in particular), I may lose control. I remember when I first got Animal Crossing: Wild World, I played it daily for about 5 months straight. I basically had to recharge my battery daily because I played it so much. I avoided picking up Viva Pinata on the 360 for the same reason on why I may have to avoid this game. I don't think I'd make time for anything else (gaming or otherwise).

It's gonna be like cheating on my beloved Animal Crossing, but I can't pass this up... too cool! :)

Unless it's online, I'll be waiting for a Wii Animal Crossing with Wi-Fi. ;)
