So, um, if there's co op, and you can get pregnant, does that mean...?

Sure, why not? I mean, you could in the last game.

I'm sure you can, but there was this nice black screen that pops and all you get is some (slightly funny IMO) moaning noises.

Nothing like 'Hot Coffee' though, maybe they can implement something like the mini-game in God of War, just pan the camera to the side of the bed with a couple good button presses.

I don't know, the first Fable was still a badass game just much too short. And even though Molyneux has a bad track record of falling short, he does seem to be trying harder on this one.

Oh.. and Co-op FTW!!

if you can play as a pregnant female warrior, i wonder if you can mis-carry and lose the child. also what if your water breaks during a battle...... so many possibilities

There better be a tavern in game where both players can meet and enjoy some nice hot coffee.

I think a birthing minigame could be tastefully done. Just do a first person view of the woman and the contractions could be button sequences

What's with all the original Fable hate? Not just from him, but in general there seems to be a sudden backlash against it. Yeah, there were some broken promises but that happens during a development cycle. And hey, it has an 84% on Gamerankings, so I'm not the only one who liked it.

Most everyone that played it liked it. Basically, it was just too short and too easy. The specific "promises" that weren't followed through on would have been forgotten, had the game been bigger.

What kept me away from the original was the inability to customize my character. Lets hope this one does a little better.

seems nice, especially the news about deaths

Now if they just disable any reset functions for that game, if you lose the scars are with you forever

It would be the first effective means of punishing gamers ever since saving was introduced to console gaming

"Molyneux says there will not be a birthing minigame."

Aww, shucks. I guess I'll just have to hope for a third "Feel The Magic" ;)

"What's with all the original Fable hate? Not just from him, but in general there seems to be a sudden backlash against it."

I got it when it came out and was very disappointed with it.

BTW, what's with this comment posting software? I have to post the same thing twice before it'll actually go through.

"What's with all the Fable hate?"

A: It was oversold. It was hyped to be, basically, oblivian but with more interactivity and cutomization. Instead it was a really short (& easy) game with a bunch of minigames. Fable promised infinte replayability because choices you made in game were supposed to matter, but delivered no replayability because (1) the character development RPG system forced you into building the same type of character no matter what and (2) forced you into the same missions no matter what. For example, yeah you could get married (to almost anybody!) but there was only one woman who marrying would have any impact on any gameplay & every other woman was the type of pointless pedestrian that would be gunned down in Grand Theft Auto.

It was fun, and I loved it, but I was done with the game 16 hours later, having completed the main quest and every sidequest in the game. Better gamers than me probably could ahve done the same in 8 hours.

Apparently you stayed so far that you don't know what you are talking about. Tattoos, haircuts, armor, clothing, and the biggie was that you could customize your chracters entire appearance based on your actions. You want horns growing out of your head? Be a bad man. You want a ray of light to illuminate the halo above your head? Charity helps.

Fable did not have the deepest character setup. But it gave you a fantasy world that was beleivable at times, and alot fun.

Fable was the first and only game I've ever pre-ordered. I was expecting the greatest game ever... instead I got a great game, but didn't live up to my expectations, but I loved it anyways. I played the shit out of that game, I actually had fun using the 'dig glitch' to get past the fences and then it basically was open ended! Seeing the unfinished dragon lair and all that was pretty entertaining too. However I refused to buy the Lost Chapters, and still to this day have not played it. Maybe I will someday. Anywho... Fable 2 will be great, any idea on the release date?
