Through the typical musings of Tony Hawk, Jason casually mentions that the game will see a September release and that a demo will be made available. Exactly when, you ask? We've asked EA for a comment on the matter and we'll let you know as soon as we hear back. As a consolation prize, please enjoy the E3 2007 trailer of Skate after the break. You'll be very glad that you did.

the game certainly looks interesting. I deffenitly give the demo a try. MY only concern is that since the game is about pulling off the small realistic tricks unlike tony hawk, it might become frustrating when its taking you 30 minutes of constant rety after retry trying to nail just 1 trick. (like some of the really hard gols in the THPS games).
Ill give it a try I guess and check out what echievments it has to offer. I really like the idea of a online carreer progression. in THPS, the online is just a bunch of kids who always play trick attack over and over and over and over again. ITs just boring. Unfortuntly, I think halo 3 will be occupying my time when this is released, too bad it didnt come out in janurary.

The tricks look simple to execute so I don't anticipate having to master anything just for one little kickflip or anything. In fact, it looks like you just manhandle the right analog stick and you'll automatically perform a countless combination of things. It definitely won't be as hard or frustrating as real skateboarding - it's a videogame after all!

The game looks a LOT less "realistic" than i thought it would be :( I thought this was going to be like the exact opposite of tony hawk, so i was so stoked. But the jumps and turns, for the most part, seem very surreal, almost cartoon-like. :( damn, hope it turns out

It seems to me, they made the game as real as could be without it being boring, which is a good thing in my book.

It looks like they forgot to Mo-Cap the characters because the animations look terrible, even though I know they mo-capped. It just looks to me like a hyped version of Project 8.
But i'll download the demo, to be fair.
