Xbox Live demo orgy continues with The Bigs
We here at team East Coast have come to treasure these times we have together, Joystiq readers. You tell us about the new demo that you played, we listen and chuckle. Then, inevitably the talk turns to the rest of the Joystiq team and you ask if they're ever coming home, and we stare out the nearest West-facing window as we say "That's our prayer, child. I think I've already played it on the Wii, and it's a really good game (aside from the computer constantly making impossible catches and the fielding being slow for the user).

Wouldn't it be cool if the next E3 was a big demo. You could download it and watch the speeches and play the games? Its at least possible now.

this week has been hell for me. the one week that my xbox cant connect to xbox live is the one week where all the demos come out. i also missed bungie day too. this is killing me

I appreciate the sentiment, but I fear that the illusion will come crashing down around me when I realize the closest thing to a game celebrity I've met this week is the guy who sort of looks like Duke Nukem sitting outside 7-11 in a trench coat.

Hey, I won a $10 gift card at a bar for taking 4th in a Guitar Hero 2 event this week. With the prizes came the ladies, and by ladies, I mean my mom was proud of me and gave me an extra cookie in my sack lunch.

This is not to start a flame war I am genuinely interested. Just asking because we see a lot of Demo X on 360 now type posts but haven't seen anything for the PS3.
How's Sony's bringing it home going? Are they doing well with getting content up? Are they putting up demos or just movies?

Nope not nearly as much as the 360 right now. It may be because most of these games are developed first for 360 and then ported and it is not in the corps best intrest to show off the PS3 demos before they get the polish of the 360 versions.

I have this on 360 and I find it to be a ton of fun. I have been looking for a fast playing, fun baseball game for years and this is it. If you can, check out this demo ASAP!
