While speaking with Brian "Ske7ch" Jarrard about the chaos that is currently Bungie Studios -- what with all the finishing touches being crammed into
Halo 3, you see -- he mentioned that Marty O'Donnell is busy implementing the music (which was missing from our
E3 demonstration). Turning to the subject of music, we asked whether or not Bungie had plans to release the
Halo 3 soundtrack as a standalone product. "I'm sure that's a safe bet," said Jarrard, adding, "It'll happen. Sure." So there you have it, a
Halo 3 soundtrack to listen to on your
Halo Zune while you play with your
Halo ActionClix,
action figures,
comics,
graphic novels, and
maybe the actual game itself.

I got the first 2 on my pc and my (non-Halo 3) Zune.
Anyone want em, I'll upload (it's not illegal if we just keep quiet about it shhh)...

why? some game music is good and all, but halos music never made me go"hey i want to listen to this out side the game".
Imadogg99 @ Jul 15th 2007 5:37PM
Haha me neither. My friend gave em to me and I used em for custom soundtracks on the Xbox like when I made scary dudes on WWF Raw. It would come on when I was playing Tony Hawk and I'd imagine an Elite killing me or something.
And they automatically synced to my Zune lol.
It's not for listening normally, but it might come in handy sometimes, you never know!

Halos music was brilliantly composed and realised. It was done just right and some of it just proves that Marty is a genious, even if he did have a mullet back in the day ;P

hey where do you get the halo2 theme song from cos i love it
Zaidyn @ Jul 15th 2007 5:53PM
I picked up the Halo 2 Soundtrack Volume 2 a few weeks ago, and loved it, so I'll definitely pick this up when it comes out. It's much better than the first volume for out-of-game listening.

Sweet. I love Halo's music, and Halo 3's music sounds like it's going to be the most epic of the three, so I'll get this for sure.

I bought the Halo and Halo 2 soundtracks off of iTunes a while ago. I listen to them all the time, especially whilst reading the Halo novels. ;)
I'm totally looking forward to the Halo 3 soundtrack, and I'm hoping it will include some variation on the original Halo theme, much like Halo 2's "Halo Mjolnir Mix."

I have the soundtracks, two action figures, halo for the pc, I have EGM's Halo 3 story with the new design on the wall in my room, Halo 3 Zune and the graphic novel..
But I'm not gettin' the halo 3 360. looks ugly.
... well, maybe. if they up the hard drive to 120gb. maybe.
