True, we have seen a similar free 1600 Microsoft points offer before when GH II released and there was no forms to send in. But if you're willing to send in a rebate and wait for your cash this is definitely a good deal. Or you could just wait for Guitar Hero III or the game X3F is in love with ... Rock Band. Decide and plan your purchase accordingly.

I got it with the 1600 points the first time... which I planned to use for the content updates, but we all know how that went.

So it went to some nice arcade titles as time went on. Good deal.

This should be done for the wireless guitars that are gonna cost an extra 20 bucks, or whatever MS is charging in the near future. :)

This is what I got from Best Buy with a Price match. I bought the Gears of War Map Pack, and Mortal Kombat off of the XBLA. Good stuff. well worth buying.

So since I bought mine early from RO I didn't get anything like this.

I guess I can always go buy some from Best Buy, send in for the rebate thing with the original upc's from my initial purchas and return the merchandise from Best Buy.
