First I was like "damn!" then I read this "EB Games and GameStop" and I started laughing. $70 seems to be their placeholder for EVERY game with a large perph. Do you think Mario Kart Wii's price is set in stoned at Gamestop's $59.99?

This isn't a full fledged game. I full expect this to retail for $49.99. If so, million copy+ seller. If more than that, failure.

In the UK this will easily cost at least $80-$100 (£40-£50), possibly even more. Xbox360 Guitar Hero is $130 (£65), so I don't see what you people have got to complain about.

$70 is £35 at current exchange rates, and that is the usual price for a game in the UK. Most games sell for £40 at release over here - if you're lucky Amazon might sell it for £30 though!

That's not a bad price considering that guitar hero cost about $80-$90! It's actually a higher quality game (IMHO) and a unique interface. Hopefully Nintendo, cuts the price of the Wii during that release or at least have a "legendary" bundle that would have the Wii with Wii-Sports and LoZ:TP along with an icreased 1GB-2GB flash memory for $250!!!

"Our only concern is that $70 might be too much for the casual audience Nintendo is hoping to attract with Wii Fit."

Look at what the casual audience spends on fitness equipment and/or dues. What American home doesn't have a $700 treadmill collecting dust? $70 is less than a decent running shoe.

$70, lets see hear. Nintendo will most likely make the Board $59.99 and then you get the game for 10 bucks. Does this sound familiar?

It's definitely not a bad price if it's at all close to the real price. Hell, even my CHEAP heavy bag was $75, without accessories, and I don't even want to get into the prices of the other exercise equipment around here....

I don't care what the price is really. I won't be getting one unless someone can tell me for sure that it will hold my enormous lard... seriously, what is the weight limit of the thing. Anyone?

Whether it's good value or not...it's still $70 and they're going to have to do some extensive marketing to sell this to non-gamers. I doubt they'll be willing to spend $70.

Not a bad price, the board seems technically advanced enough, plus if there might be other games using it.

its not bad concidering that it is a whole board + the games, still though i reckon they will bring out another one maybe a year after this one to adapt for games such as snowboarding surfing etc. Plus will provide hours of fun + that the wii remote costs £30 on its own, Wii remote + wii play is £35 - £40 so in reality its not a bad price, and still it is only a rumour, i could still be a higher or lower price !!
