I Hate this trend of Win this and win that here.

Ok, I know a lot of fools fall into this and it's an amazing way to generate traffic, but seriously: 1 gazillion of people enter in this stuff and 1 maybe 2 or 3 people win something that we either already have or can buy without effort if we really wanted it.

It's a waste of time and good blogging space.

IMHO.

But it increases traffic and pleases adverstisers so, T Ghost! shut up and join the system!! : )

Oh, I missed this "pearl":

"You will have register for the Uncle Gamer forums to participate, but that seems a small price to pay for a free game, no? Hit the "read" link for full details."

Off course! Why not lose some minutes of my life registering for some forum I probably will never visit again, release one of may already spamcontaminated emails so they can sell it to more spammers to let me know how amazing is to meet christian singles in my area 100 times a day and have 1 chance in a billion to get something that, again, I either already have or could get it by myself with little effort if I really wanted.

Sorry, Richard I'm #1 fan of this work of yours and the X3F team for a while now but need to vent on this annoying and fake win this win that trend that blogs everywhere insists on shoving on their readers throats thinking they are doing them a favor.

Whoa! I feel so much better now I vented it out! Thanks!

@ #2

Yes, I noted that you have to pay $499 (if you're fast cause soon will be $599 again) to see a demo with less than a dozen of cars and 1 track and no opponents with sounds, handling and physics engine of 15 years ago and no damaging engine at all, not even a cosmetic one.

And could you tell me the release date for GT5? No, no the demo, "prologue" like they wanna spin it, I'm talking about the REAL GT5, the one that wiil have cockpit view but 0% damage engine.

What? 2025? ok. $499 right?

I'm flying to best buy and get mine dude! SO EXCITED ABOUT A NEW BD PLAYER!!!!

WHOOO!!

@4 wow damage has been put in to GT5 and i dont get your point with the physics. a demo for GT5 is coming out in October in japan and the full game may release at the end of the year or early next year. And your losing a down hill battle when an unfinished demo can visually compete with a finshed game i would worry. (keyword demo) GT probaly wont sell PS3s but it will keep those people who own a PS3 happy and hungry for what other visually great games the PS3 will have to offer. Forza 2 to me was like burnout(damage), Carbon(custom), and project gotham(visuals) had a 3 way crash and forza was the conclusion. O and the price thing by the holiday season the 80gig will be $499 and there has been talk about a 40giig being $399 and a possible short apperance of the 20gig. seems like the othere PS3 games doesnt interests you but thats ok they interest me and thats what counts. goodbye you cheap son of a bitch all you have to is wait for a price drop and buy a ps3 you one eyed fuck i cant believe you just attacked a game that was no complete.
