If you're nostalgic for NES Track & Field, and Sonic & Mario's upcoming Olympic game isn't portable enough for you, Decathletes may be what you're looking for. The objective of the game should be obvious enough, you compete in ten athletic events and go for the gold.Decathletes has a career mode with custom character options, but just like the real thing, Decathletes is all about human competition. For this reason, multiplayer will be a big focus on the title. Four players will be able to compete against each other in the sweat inducing competition. There's no word if lots of button mashing will be involved, but it'd probably be smart to start working out those thumbs now in preparation.
Decathletes is currently scheduled for a spring 2008 release.
