I think I figured out what the best thing about the game was for me. It was the short character building moments that most games completely ignore.

Whether it's the early scene where you go visit your girlfriend and just sit on the couch with her, or the monologue breaks for loading screens. You really feel like you understand the character, and you actually start to care about his struggles.

Sure the gameplay is solid, the atmosphere moody, and the graphics great... but it's the non-plot related character building that kicks it up to a great game.

It's hard to recommend a buy unless you are retarded like me and must own every game you play/like. It is shortish. But the game is AWESOME!!! If you like FPS you will be impressed and love every sweet second with this game.

Very underated. Excellent single player game.

Justin my friend, anyone could have slipped that "the darkness" joke in as a one liner. You on the other hand took it the extra mile... and it was funny enough to make me lol.
High Five!

To Burritoclock.
There is also the people that saw the review in Gamespot :P.

The game is absolutely brilliant like Burritoclock said is a bit short but the game compensates it with a lot of action. The story is great and the graphics are really good.

One of the things that shock me about this game is that is based on a comic,I didnt knew there was a comic,I unlocked 3 of them I wanted to read them but unfortunately the game doesnt counts with an accesible way to read the comics or one that makes it fun like the Marvel Online Reader.

See McFarland this is how games based on comics should be like!!.

This game is a nice rental, the side-quests are not really interesting and once you finish the (cool) campaign there isn't much to return to unfortunately.

But doesn't everybody know about the Darkness by now?

You know what IS better than rock? A button to eat human hearts. This game has that.

The Darkness is awesome.

I bought this the day it hit the stores and I've finished it once on easy. I'm currently going back on medium and trying to collect the rest of the 100 collectables. (HARD) This game rocks. If you're a FPS fan... this is not a rent but a buy! The Darkness powers are so fun to use..

Bring on the demos! Man, I've been playing nothing, but demos lately on the 360 and nothing else, except for the occasional XBLA games when I'm waiting for the demo. If it's so much too ask, publishers please release an rpg or two in july, so I can enjoy the summer.

That looks like something I might enjoy.

If only M$/friends would release FPS controller for Xbox...

Otherwise, as PC+mouse & Wii+WiiMote fan, I'm waiting on sidelines. What is sad.

P.S. I do not understand M$ logic. They have stronghold in FPS games. Yet, they bluntly refuse to make any shooting controller. Why????

E3 have passed. Nintendo announced Zapper.

M$?.. Silence... I really don't get it.

Did anybody asked M$ during E3 about FPS controller?
