No FFXIII/Versus demos until 2008, new videos soon

The way these games are progressing you'd(is you'd a word)think they have 12 people working on the games.

Just some news for all. PS3's are sold out in almost every Canadian futureshop store.

First I hear from PSM who spoke to Toriyama who stated that its about 80% done, now I see that there's a demo coming out next year. I guess that whole FFXIII rumor of it being under 20% done was false?

Either way, it's good to see that a demo is on it's way in 2008.

'08 starting to look better and better for Sony.

They're not going to release FF12 and FF13 in the same year.

I think FFVII will be announced after 13, so if 13 wont even have demo's til next year, i think FFVII is a little way off.

Cant wait for XIII though, should be good. They're supposed to have a good storyline for this one. Unlike every game since FFIX where the storylines seemed to stop being as good as they could have been.

@Andy: "You'd" is a contraction of You and Would... now whether the usage is grammatically correct, I don't know nothin'! =D (But in conversational writing, I'd say it's fine.)

@Ty: I thought I had read the same thing... They perhaps should have said "the side quests are only 13% done"... then again with FF's abundance of side quests... nevermind. =/

@humpty: Seeing that they are not done yet, and that this is their 20th Anniversary, they COULD release FFVII or FFVIII onto the PSN Store in the same year - couldn't they? =) That's what I'd like to see until FFXIII!

@insane257: Still hoping for a remake?... =/ i'd love a remake - but we won't see one for a while yet I think... =(

I think at TGS we will have more of an idea what's going on with FFXIII - and what's more, I think there might be some gameplay vids shown... Versus on the other hand will have to wait. =( Man, I hate to think that SE's development energies are being spent on the DS, and that's why it's taking so long. Or maybe they're making another movie. =( why does everyone involved in the PS3 sometimes forget about the games? =S (Well, Versus will come along better when UE3 is finally in a finished form... which is more than I can say for Too Human! In fact, I'm going to start taking bets on which will come out first - Duke Nukem Forever, or Too Human... I'm putting $20 on Duke! =D )

That sucks. Square said that they would have something available for every system for the 20th Anniversary. I assumed this demo would cover them for the PS3. I don't expect anything else out for the PS3, so I guess it will get passed over.

At least we still have the games for PSP and DS to look forward to, and FFXI's Wings of the Goddess expansion for PS2, PC, and 360.

so it isnt 13% complete, i knew it, its just a little delay....................i hope...
