I still don't see how online co-op is a missing feature. It's just a feature that may not be included. Bungie never said they would have it (feel free to correct me on that) and it isn't something being taken out of the series. I just dont see how something like this can make so many people mad and even change peoples opinion on buying this game.

I can't wait to see footage of this thing actually in action. I'd love to see some SPARTANs as well, of course.

I hope they have at least a system link co-op they havent said anything about that, I just hate splitting 57 inches with a buddy of mine, I got a 30 inch HD for my pals in my MAN's ROOM (if THE MAN"S SHOW had 1, they would use mine) I guess EPIC got me used to the thought that every big name game would be co-op system-link / online, but they should be able to considering DOOM 3 had it on the original XBOX. (I'm not mad at BUNGIE - I really enjoy playing the HALO series) but C'mon 3 yrs later on a sequel to a sequel, I honestly think they are tired at this point and are being lazy. They didnt have to make up a story they had it, all they needed to do was Finish it in a better machine than they used w/ the 1st 2 games. I'm no software/game developer, but I am an Engineer, basis for ground work was planted in their 1st 2 games. They just dont wanna add on it seems like. And every problem they seem to have all I read is the whining about how hard it is for them. Hey Bungie when I run into a problem I get help how about calling EPIC or ID software and add them to your thanking list for when I beat HALO 3 for their help and throw them a couple bucks, I mean all the $$$ your gonna make, what problems are you gonna have spending it...GEEZ You guys are too proud I swear....(But I'm still buying it..)

ok CORRECTION, in BUNGIE's website they state that they will have co-op via sysytem-link, which is a start and a very good start so since they are getting that I feel much better now that I will not be sharing a TV, thank you BUNGIE, sorry for the rude lash out before, but hey blame 360 fanboy / gamespot for not mentioning system-link at all fo I dont go to website but to look at how far i gotta go til I get my next ranking as for online co-op if it comes out later in an update then hooray for those who wanted that as badly, and for the later posts thanks for making fun of me I appreciate it

No shit they have regular co-op. People are complaining about the lack of online co-op, which they promised for Halo 2 and didn't deliver. People just assumed a touted feature like that wouldn't be fucked up again the second time. And they are just making excuses. Save the fact that the latency over an online connection versus a direct LAN is 1:10, there should be no reason it won't work. Video games aren't heavy on internet bandwith. Most of lag is your ping to their connection.

If they think that 2 of every 5 co-op games will lag then they need to get over it. That's the same with any online game. You just need to match or pair up with some friends you don't have connection issues with.

They just don't want to do it now is all, and are making up lame excuses.

By the way wrestling an alligator isn't that difficult and you wouldn't bring a knife, that's stupid. I use to work at an alligator farm with an uncle. They are peiceful creatures. Maybe he's thinking of crocs.
