I can already feel the sad faces on Christmas morning when I have to tell all my family I couldn't get them anything because there were too many "can't miss" games, that I just couldn't...miss. Hopefully they will understand, because I know my landlord wouldn't have.

This is going to be a GREAT fall and winter. So many great games and so little money to spend on them.

I'll completely disagree and say that it's about time someone put the funny back into gun play. I mean yes we are killing people in these games, sometimes over Xbox live, but to take out what makes the game unique, where is the fun in that? You can't honestly say the slapstick, sitcom humor wasn't what caught your eye. I know it did mine, With Kane and Lynch looking to be another two man title team I am glad one went with humor and the other went with ruthless killing.
I say thinking outside of the box is more likely to sell, then sticking to what we already get a nice hefty dose of, military, inane killing, and no real witty banter. I mean, sure it might be safer for some people to stifle change and creativity, but I say if it takes out the funny, then to me it isn't worth my time.
Anyone else getting tired of people bitching about change?
So far this game is an auto-buy as long as I get my dose of funny...

With Halo 3 and such coming out my wallet is going to take a nose-dive into debtness. Gotta love Halo 3 though, so it will easily be worth it.

I don't 'gotta love' shit erivera3, if Halo 3 doesn't have online co-op I won't buy it or wait to buy until it does, and don't give me this 'I'm not a true fan bullshit' because I am quit a big Halo fan but I won't be forced into making such a purchase for something half complete. The said Halo 2 would have it and it didn't so it's expected for Halo 3 to have.
That said Army of Two looks great, especially if they keep the slapstick. Not sure where you got the sitcom humor vibe from but yeah, the E3 trailer disappointed me. It was all serious but led me to expect one guy would be the "I hate to kill but need the money and am good at it" and the other is "Wooo, die bitches, hell yeah, come here dumbass" and so on.

Ignorance, Intentless, would be your ability to know the facts before commenting. Especially since you are commenting in a Army of Two thread about Halo 3 co-op. That issue aside, if you had read what Frankie said (at least in the weekly whats-update), co-op is being worked on, has not been removed, and an update will be revealed in the next few weeks.
I hope you feel stupid now.

No, sorry, the goofy voices and one-liners did not catch my attention (in a positive way) at all, if anything they dropped this down on my must-buy list a few notches. Sure, had the comedy part of it been halfway funny to me, that would be great. I'm not "bitching about change" I'm bitching about stupid jokes and weak one-liners.

I've been saving up for games recently, but this is just getting out of hand. I've just been using the blockbuster game pass and waiting for -great- games to come out before I purchase them, but I could easily spot out 6 or so games throughout the rest of 2007 that I would purchase for my PS3 and 360.
This is getting crazy. If all of these monster titles are being released this year, just imagine what next year holds fellas. :)

Been keeping an eye on this one. The humour (that's the proper way of spelling it) ;o) may affect the enjoyment of the game but I don't think it's that big a deal. Surely the gameplay is what matters? You'll only see/hear the comedy during the cutscenes, right?
