How about fixing Suzuka so it isn't profitable to cut the chicane in fast cars?

I have the Elan (I have every car), but I never drove it. Does this mean I can't drive it now? Or just my scores won't stick?

Not being able to gift/resell cars with locked paintjobs is ridiculous. What good are custom paintjobs then? It sure makes them a lot less valuable.

Not being able to boot drivers sucks. Sometimes you have rules you give out verbally (like no Saleen S7s) and some people don't have headsets. If they don't listen and you can't boot them, it screws things up.

This patch spooks me a little. They're messing with the gameplay quite a bit it seems.

At first I thought they removed the Kick feature entirely, but it's just so that you can't kick during the game. That scared me for a second.

(from link to full Pitpass post)

"Removed host's ability to boot players during a race. Why? Because this feature, although handy at times, was getting abused by hosts who kicked folks who were in the lead of a race where the stakes were high (i.e., credits were on the table). Don't worry, you can still kick people to your heart's content in the lobby."

The reason I think you should still be able to kick out people is nothing ruins a race more then the loosers who when not winning a race decide to skrew it over for everyone and drive to take other racers out. Like driving the wrong way on the track. To all that do this I say they should automaticly be booted.

If I understand correctly, only second parties cannot resell locked cars; if you are the original artist, you can do what you please. This was done to combat the rampant duplicating problem, by which people were able to create a copy of a given locked car to resell for profit. That's how most (if not all) the people with hundreds of millions of CR got there.

Another percentage of that group is the artists whose designs were sold to the aforementioned glitchers for hundreds of millions of CR.

Hopefully the economy will correct itself soon.

You are completely right on this one. RIDICULOUS. It's mine, I paid for it, I can do anything I want with it. If I don't want it anymore, no reason I shouldn't be allowed to resell. This is complete BS.

The only car "banned" for the stats is the Elan.

The Elan has a glitch that makes you able to upgrade it to class A and B but the game still shows as class D or C.

So people run it on tracks and it completely OWNS the scoreboards of D,C and B car cause it's actually an A or B car in performance.

And talking about miracle watch another one being performed by Dustin when he manages to insert a Forza 2 article on XBOX360ihateforzacauseistoocomplicateandfullofjaggiesandandimnoobieenoughinrealcarsandracingtothinkburnoutisanactualracinggameFANBOY!

Well, that's interesting John, you say the prohibition on reselling is because of a duping bug? How about fixing the duping bug instead? How about fixing the Elan bug instead of banning it?

This seems like a half-assed patch.

I'm glad to hear the booting out people thing is only in the game, not in the lobby. I do agree it'll be a bit annoying you can't boot people who are being asses during the race. But just so you know, there is an option to turn off collisions from cars driving backward on the track. EVERYONE should set this option. Then people will have to find new ways to be assholes.

And now, after this half-assed patch, we hear they will be SELLING us more track soon. Really? Forza 2 has FEWER tracks than Forza 1 and they think this means a great opportunity to SELL us some tracks?

To developers: don't take crap out of your games and then try to sell it back to us.

@8:

The current inability to sell locked designs is a temporary step, according to the officials on the FM2 forums. They're working to fix the problem itself, but this is a bandaid until then. It's a lot easier to understand if you do some reading on the forums; most of the artists are to the point of not selling any more original designs because of the duping bug.

I agree that it's inconvenient to not be able to resell locked vehicles, but I also know that it's the best option at this point.

As far as the Elan bug, I believe the same is true; it's a temporary situation. I'm not quite as up to speed on it as I don't play online.

You may find the forums at http://www.forzamotorsport.net.
