I already downloaded this game... Do you need a memory card to save when playing on the Ps3? If you do, will Ps2 memory cards work?

Never$$hort:
You can create an internal virtual memory card on the PS3 and on the PSP. You don't need a physical card. :)

I own the original. Let me tell you...this is one of the better series from Konami. Man I miss the old days...

I have the original PS1 disk and from what I'm getting on the reviews it seems like this is a straight port. Does that mean that on widescreens (like the PSP) does the game show up cropped, stretched, or optimized for the screen (no distortion)?

The new ability to transfer a save file back and forth from the PS3 to the PSP and vice versa is a much welcome addition and will only encourage me to make future downloads.

@Tesla

You're able to choose between different display modes on your PSP - as with any videos (zoom, full screen, etc.)

This is a strange question but is it possible to transfer it to your PSP to play it or do have to download another copy on your PC or something?

@TheSh0wstopper

Sure, you just have to hit the Home button on your PSP while the game is running. It should be self-explanatory from there on.
