G4 makes Master Chief's True Hollywood Story

Is this video kind of silly and chock-full of groaners? You bet. But there are still some choice moments in G4's True Hollywood Story treatment of everybody's favorite Spartan, especially his Hasselhoffian drunken burger binge.

Interestingly, the video is much more entertaining than the Halo film's true Hollywood story, which could be summed up as "What's Halo? They want how much? Who's that guy? It's canceled." That's not even worth posting on YouTube.

I guess I lost my sense of humor -- it wasn't really that funny. I think it needs to be beef up more and longer. I mean, I like a good laugh, and I'll certainly laugh at Halo stuff, but this was too superficial and uncreative for me. Kind of a "been there, done that" taste in my mouth.

Why does everyone make a big deal about Master Chief? He's a generic, faceless, video-game soldier. I know the novels gave him a history, but it's nothing more than standard sci-fi fare.

Yes, but they will make a Metal Gear Solid movie or a freakin Dead or Alive movie.. Who wants to see crusty old Snake in a freakin movie?? When I want something good and artistic Hollywood is the last place I look.
