Just one day after Hollywood trade-mag Variety reported that Ubisoft's licensed Heroes game would be revealed this weekend (at a little party called Comic-Con) another, uh, Hollywood trade-mag – this time The Hollywood Reporter – seal the deal, reporting the game should hit next-gen consoles and PC as early as late 2008.
And so, Ubisoft adds Heroes to their stable, continuing their aggressive push for popular licensed content after confirming Lost back in April and James Cameron's Avatar on Tuesday. Now, we patiently wait to see how they adapt the talky superhero mystery into a compelling gaming experience.

LMAO...I'm sure they'll try but this just seems like a way to make millions of a tv series that for some strange reason is popular...
I'm sure it will do well though since its got Heroes though...lol.

Play the last X-men game, then play the new Fantastic Four game, combine them and that is what you can expect from this game. It's Licensed, do not expect anything worth a damn!

Aww don't ruin their hopes already...
I've liked all the X-Men Legends games so far. Hopefully it will be decent.
But we do have to accept that this is just a business move for Ubisoft. A way to get that paper easily since its such a huge franchise now.

hey i wonder if it will have a supercraptastic ending like the first season? maybe theyll have a button where peter can NOT punch villains while he has a uber amount of powers at his disposal.

The better question I think is how long until we have Rabbids dressed up like the Heroes, running around and screaming.

Ubisoft at the helm = PS3 version magically delayed 8 months after initial release on other platforms.

This is such a money-making tactic.
I wish game developers weren't so greedy. They put a black eye on a series just to make a quick buck. They make a game out of a TV series that, in all honesty, shouldn't be a game to begin with. But they know if they slap the "Heroes" name on there, people will buy it.
I'm waiting for just exactly how they're gonna make a game out of this.

They can't really make an x-men type game. I hope the game it 100% action oriented, but is much more story driven. What makes the show amazing are the characters, and their development. This needs to be such a game. Shooting fireballs and flying will get boring fast.

I hope you are able to be Sylar and eat the inards of the brain to gain more powers. Almost like resident evil with out the x-men factor.
