OH WOW!

This brings back so many awesome memories from my childhood.

So are these going to be new episodes? Or what? Either way I'll definitely be watching...such a great show.

I was thinking the same thing.

And the plot wasn't nearly as bad as everyone seems to be "remembering".

It got a little... crazy. Even weird at times after the second season, but it was never bad, or at least not as bad as people seem to be projecting.

Good memories with this show. Still cool to me. If they show new episodes, I'm watching.

oh and jon Bardinelli? Watch the friggin show. Once it got to the second season it started having year long arcs long before it was cool in cartoons to do so. It was a show that any true geek could enjoy...if they actually watched the bitch.

And like was said earlier- Tony Jay doens`t equal bad acting.

I guess this means this show has died and revived as much as Family Guy. I hated how the new episodes from a few years back just suddenly dropped off with a cliffhanger.

The show was a LOT better in the final season with the grown up Enzo. The earlier seasons, which cute, wern't really all that entertaining.

Hopefully they follow in that storyline and not regress back to the earlier stuff.

I hated the final season... it lost all the charm of the original shows, plus the characters were dull.

Hopefully they reboot it back to the original setting...

holy mother of ****. This is the biggest news ever. I have no idea what this has to do with gaming but Im stoked.

But the original reboot was owend and animated by mainframe. The series was also left with a cliffhanger ending after season 4 which I would love to finally see finished. A question tho. Will this revisit contain the original voice actores?

Also lets hope for a proper DVD release. Season 1 and 2 have never been released to DVD while season 3 has seen a limited release 4 individual disc set by ADV Films. I would love to own them but each dvd is so rare that it costs nearly $60 per disc off ebay and the like. Then theres season 4 which is 8 episodes contained on a double sided disc, which was not a limited release and I happen to own :). Heres hoping for a season 1 and 2 release and 3 re-release.

Yea, i remember this series as well. Although, when it first aired, the Internet was just becoming more common place. There were no blackberries (or not as common), iPhone, Goolgle Maps, MySpace, WoW, YouTubeetc.. so, the concepts on which the show was based were pretty new fangled... but, maybe not so much today.

Oh awesome..I loved ReBoot back in my youth. And also, like Jody said Mighty Max. But ReBoot had been on my mind not too long ago, I was beginning to wonder whatever happened to the creators of the show and the show itself.

I searched online for the series on DVD to no avail, and hopefully with this rebirthing of the series they will release a new DVD set or something, I would love to sit down and relive one of my favorite of shows of my childhood.

I learned an important lesson. Gigabyte is more than a megabyte. The reason the game cheats us is that so we don't destroy their world and that's why PC gamers and casual gamers destroy their computers due to so many games. That Bob becomes a cool name when applied to a bad ass. That you can't become smarter by turning everyone's processor speed down. And always listen to Fong.

This show was really great. I remember I even had Hack and Slash action figures!

In a way, it really got me interested in computers. I always wished I could access Mainframe and play the cool games the way they did. I really hope they can breathe new life into the series and make it shine again.

Then they did a musical that recapped the whole series at the end of the second movie.

I'm wondering what they would do for the voice of Megabyte. When Tony Jay died, I thought that would be the end of the series right there. When the voice actor for Bob changed, you couldn't tell, but how is anyone going to live up to, or replace, Tony Jay?

Favorite episode from reboot was the one with the rabid racoon game.

I think there were about 3 major sections that it got broken up into.

You had the first set which focused on Bob, where Enzo was young, then you had it shift to "Matrix" Enzo. then they wrapped up most of the plot points with the supervirus thing. I was a little dissatisfied with the ending, but I was glad they didn't leave that hanging.

Still, it's been so long since I saw it last that I can barely remember the running plot points.

Oh yeah. They never touched on the issue of Megabyte's Father being a Null, and that whole issue with reviving the Nulls and stuff. That was the last plot point that I was looking to see the series resolve.

Yeah. Because fandom writes the BEST stories.

Seriously, between that and dissing the voice actors, are you just trolling?
