Wow! That is all I can think of to say. That could be one of the most idiotic things I have ever seen. I'll be honest I have been on their mailing list for some time and think its a great idea to have a VGVN, BUT WTF was that?

They are fighting ridiculous propaganda with even more ridiculous propaganda. We really need to refine our message to the real issues without making comparisons to women's rights, the British Empire, devil worshipers, etc. Sounds like they want a civil war!

I think a proactive approach to the issue may be a better idea instead of a "fight." Why has everything in this country become shoot first and ask questions later?

If the video games industry had feet I wonder how many bullet holes they would have in them!

Why are they using video games for the source of all evil?

"Answer the call... and Defend our video games..."

"Spread the Word about the Fight"

does this guy play videogames?

It's over the top, and ridiculous. However, it's not very different from the kinds of adds you start seeing around election year.

If they just could have added Hillary Clinton as Mother Brain or something, that would've been genius!

Hmm. So which candidate with the VGVN "independently" be pushing us toward next year?

The only people who address "voters" are people looking to get elected.

oooh oooh and then we can make online petitions and have Halo LAN parties and order pizza and listen to Linkin Park and read comic books! This is embarrasing. Oooh, Join a Myspace group to stop this evil! Do it now! Yawn.

"The Video Game Voters Network makes a homage to game and movie trailers by bringing you this overly-dramatic and intentionally over-the-top recruitment trailer to raise awareness among video game enthusiasts of the very serious and constant legislative struggle facing video games. The "Fight For Video Games" trailer shows how politicians and media critics have set their sights on video games, just as they have with comic books, movies and music before, but now you can ensure they lose this struggle, just as they lost in other battles against free speech."
Just below the video.

At least they tried. Definitely a little over the top, but at least someone is actually trying to do something about the ridiculous laws/bills being passed.

you've got guys on the floor of congress talking about how you can recreate 9-11 style attacks, and train to be a sniper in GTA:San Andreas. It's a lot more serious than you think. Poke around on their site for a little while and you'll be mad in no time
