Nerfing your Wiimote
From the company who saved thousands of children from the pain of -- well, pain in the '90s, come Nerf products to save your television and spouses from those sadistic Wiimotes. The Nerf Wiimote case is available on GameStop's website, but it looks like it's the same deal as the DS Lite Nerf case, where they'll send you a color at random. So, check other retailers if you want a specific color.A Nerf case for your Wiimote really can't hurt, get it? We're still trying to figure out some way for us to have our Wiimote strapped on and reach for a drink without almost knocking the glass over as the Wiimote does a pendulum motion. Maybe bringing back the beer hat (for soda uses) wouldn't be such a bad idea for drink safety -- or the adult version of the Sippy cup.

Nah. I think I'll take my chances and just NOT be a retard who let's his remote fly out of his hand.

Might still be a good idea if you have retarded friends, and let's face it. We all know at least one.

Too late...you already own a Wii.
BPM @ Jul 28th 2007 2:04PM
At least he isn't Shagittarius.

True.

All these things always interfere with the other accessories. My wife always wants to put on the sports covers but they don't fit if you have the textured grips that I like. None of them will work if you want to use a charging bay. And let me just take this moment to say that I'm glad it won't let me put my wii mote in the blaster because it is horrible.

The Wiimote is the new Ipod. It's white, trendy, and has a million different accessories; none of which are compatible with each other.

Nerf was around in the 70s and 80s too!

Dude, this is a great idea. Now you can throw your wiimote after some one beats you... AT THEM. This would be awesome if they made those for the 360, boy, there would be a lot of fights after Halo matches, with Nerf controllers. =D
blooh @ Jul 28th 2007 7:19PM
i already throw the controllers at guys that rape me, why would i want to pad them?

Nerf football + golden, angelic Wii remote = Sixaxis?
BPM @ Jul 28th 2007 2:05PM
I don't get it.

I love to play wii with my cousin. But, she's like 11, of course she's gonna drop my wiimotes - she's still got tiny hands. That doesn't make her a retard, just maladroit.
I'll take two.
Paviel @ Jul 29th 2007 12:36PM
I think that's what the wrist strap is for. As long as she puts it on and tightens it, the wiimote shouldn't hit the ground when she drops it.
Emceay @ Jul 29th 2007 2:45PM
Warioware? We're constantly taking the strap off to pass the remote. It almost guarantees there's no time to put the strap on.
Regardless of the wrist strap, my controllers have been dropped by others before. I'm not a dick, so I'm not going to tell my friends every time "put your wrist strap on!" (especially when I trust my hands and don't wear mine) having padded controllers saves the worry.
