Video: Castle Crashers at Comic Con
9
If you've been wondering why there has been a lack of Castle Crashers news, then know that you aren't alone as we share the same curiosity. So, we all should be happy to hear that The Behemoth is at Comic Con this year showing off their latest Castle Crashers build and we can't think of a better way to celebrate the re-emergence of the game than with some gameplay footage from the show floor. Embedded above is the new footage featuring our colorful Castle Crashers knights in a boss battle and kicking bum. Be sure to watch until the end when our heroes are forced to turn on eachother to win a kiss from their princess. We so got five bucks on the red knight.

One thing I dislike about games like these is the godawful collision detection.
If you watch the boss battle, sometimes the players were right next to (underneath) the boss, yet weren't hitting them. They weren't completely in the front of the screen, they were definitely up against them, from the bottom.
Unless they're specifically trying to go for a 2D world, a la Paper Mario, developers need to realize that weapons can swing in 360 degrees, and at least *SOME* damage needs to be assigned when approaching enemies in directions other than left or right.

I am really looking forward to this. Hopefully I'll love this game as much as I love Alien Hominid.

Where and when did they say 1200 points?
And yes, plenty of people still care about it. Obviously if you read the first sentence of the post, that question might have been answered.
