It's one of those uber exciting HD DVD release weeks featuring a slew of new movies including some spartan killing. No, not Master Chief Spartans, ancient
300 Spartans! That's right, the movie
300 is available this week on HD DVD featuring exclusive
features and some nifty movie editing tricks. It's what we call a "must have". Other notable releases this week include
Hot Fuzz,
Shaun of the Dead,
Shooter and
Planet Earth (again). We say again, because it has already been released to HD DVD in April, but that was the BBC version. This is the US Discovery Channel version which is nearly identical to the BBC version except Sigourney Weaver does the narration. But again, the real sugar coated gem this week is
300. Go. Get. It. Tomorrow!
