65nm 360 chips in production 'last two quarters' - 45nm on the way

I really hope Microsoft does something to make the newer 360s stand out- a sticker on the box, a tiny redesign, ANYTHING to let me know that I'm not buying an older console.

The "Falcon" motherboards began production last month. The July manufactured consoles (with 65nm chips) should be in most stores within 2 weeks.

The BIGGEST benefit of the smaller chips will be a less noisy console.

Consoles manufactured after May 2007 are said to have the problem resolved.

If you ask me, I think ALOT of people have been making up stories about the 360's failures, such as RROD.
I have a friend whose 360 RROD while I was at his house, and he never had to send his 360 into Microsoft, instead he just kept trying for like 20 minutes to get it to work, and whaddya know? It worked just fine and has never given him problems since, and that was like 2 months ago.
I remember back when the 360 first came out, that people were complaining about the 360 overheating, and a huge mess of other things. Just those rumors (whether or not some were true) discouraged people from buying the 360, and if you ask me, I think that a whole bunch of P.O.S.3 fanboys have helped the circulation of stories, because it's what they wanted to hear so they told everyone they know.
I witnessed that in my circle of friends, and now, after my continuous defense for the 360, have convinced almost all of my friends to buy one. Only one has had a problem, (which went away) and the rest of us are error free. The one friend who had the problem bought his at launch.
I really think that most of the problems people have could be avoided.

My old house was really dusty, and all kinds of electronic devices were freaking out, including our computer.
We also didn't have air conditioning at our old house, and were having things overheat all the time.
If you have a house where you can keep things at a good 75 degrees, and little dust, then you shouldn't have problems with your 360.
I forget who it was who said it, but I remember someone blaming the failure of 360's on the owner. For the MOST part, (because of the lack of problems me and my friends have had, and that's like 50+ 360's)
that it really IS the owners fault.
Of course, there are the people who have issues who take great care of their 360, like my friend, but I really think that a whole lot of over-exaggeration has been blowing up the problem bigger than it is.

I'll bet, that P.O.S.3 fanboys have even been making 360's RROD on purpose, to make Microsoft look bad.
But, because this is a real problem, it is Microsoft's fault, but we can't jump on a bandwagon just because it's there.
Just a possibility.

Anyway, long story short, I love the 360, and have had no problem with mine, and don't expect any to arise, but if they do, I will just be glad it's not like the old P.O.S.2. Almost all of my friends have a busted P.O.S.2 laying around their house somewhere.

Thank god for the slim-line which kinda helped.
