Activision has announced more songs due to rock your socks off in Guitar Hero 3. In addition to the four previously revealed to fan community ScoreHero, the following songs were also announced:
We're pretty interested in seeing which tracks will also be found on Guitar Hero competitor Rock Band, from original GH developer Harmonix -- "Mississippi Queen" was previously shown in one pre-E3 video. The full list of announced tracks are listed after the break.
Um, because GH3 doesn't have drums and vocals so 4 people can rock out at the same time?
Or because Harmonix has a proven track record of quality music/rhythm games, and Neversoft/Activision doesn't?
They aren't going to force you to buy every peripheral with the game. Figuring that you can use Xbox360 guitars with the game, I wouldn't be surprised if they sold the game stand-alone.
This track list is awesome! Alot of these songs came out of nowhere, especially Weezer, Muse, and A.F.I.
I have a few requests but im not sure if they would be answered:
MODEST MOUSE; (I don't really care what songs, I like it all, most likely something off The Moon and Antartica.),
CHIODOS; "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On The Creek", "The Lover And The Liar", "One Day Women Will All Become Monsters", also the begining of "The Word 'Best Friend' Become Redefined" would be awesome.
SILVERSTEIN; "Your Sword Verses My Dagger", "Always And Never"
RISE AGAINST; why not, they are pretty good.
I saw the last two last week : D
I highly suggest you listen to this song by Chiodos, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg1dF4TpI0k Ignore the weird video, and some may not like the singing but the guitar is awesome!
Also, I know it's called Guitar Hero, and your suppose to be playing an electric guitar, but how about some good acoustic?
I was glad to see Paranoid was finally gonna be in there, but seriously, as the comments have proven, Raining Blood should've been the song of note in the headline. Pantera's Walk just needs to make it now, although that would probably be a better fit for Rock Band.
I only have a grudge against one band on the playlist. . .Tenacious D. No offense to those who are fans of TD, but compare them to Slayer. They look like posers compared to some of the other bands on the list. Yes, I agree that many people like that band, but I am also pretty sure that there are some who wouldn't mind replacing TD with another band who's lyrics actually mean something.
I'm still buying this when it comes out! chyea. ^_^
