Wow... I cant believe I'm not devastated. GTA IV is my #1 most anticipated game in existance right now, but with the huge holiday line up, I can easily say I'm not really even phased. I hope they put the time to good use. I'll survive plenty well with Heavenly Sword on my PS3, Mass Effect on my 360, and BioShock on my pimped out PC.

Poor Wii owners... all they get is a Mario rehash. Well, being poor sucks.

(already regretting feeding the troll)

Whichever way you look at it, Mario Galaxy is more original than GTAIV (not even taking into account whether you feel its better or worse, there is a difference from Sunshine aside from the graphical upgrade, and even aside from the new controls), the latter is a rehash if anything (which isn't necessarily bad)

Wow... way to totally miss the point. All 3 games I mentioned definitively ARENT rehashes. Like I said... who cares about GTA IV? We have better games on track for this year.

Enjoy your Mario and Metroid. At least you save 10 dollars

Well, Halo 3 was supposed to come out last year while Splinter Cell 5 and Too Human have also been delayed - I wonder, does that mean the 360 is "hard to code for"?

Halo3 was not supposed to come out last year. there you go making things up again.

and Motorstorm, Lair, and Heavenly Sword have all been considerably delayed, and those are Sony's own first party studios.

maybe they're too busy helping 3rd parties figure out their hardware? (Epic)

I don't really see why none of you saw this coming. They made the fatal mistake of trying to set a strict deadline for GTAIV as soon as it was announced, which is ludacris considering they had no idea what troubles they would encounter along the way.

I suppose I'd be more disappointed if I didn't have about seven dozen other games that will be released between now and Christmas that I desperately want to play. While I was looking forward to GTAIV (it was in my Outlook, for heaven's sake) it will no longer have to compete with the Master Chief, Mario or Samus for my love and affection. So, I suppose I'm greeting this news with a giant "eh".

There is one reason why the PS3 may be to blame (coding)yet 2 reasons for the 360 (no hard drive and limited media size). The validity of all 3 reasons has been previously confirmed by Take Two so why are people ignoring the ones concerning the 360?
