Leo @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:06PM
Now if only we could get the full episode 6 o:)
Neebs @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:14PM
inb4 the inevitable (as were earlier) "Steam sucks!" bullshit morons spout.
AoE @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:24PM
Yes... but you didn't actually say anything meaningful, just that you posted before the negative posts... sorry, I don't mean to target you specifically, and I'd be happy for an answer from anyone on this...
Why does it matter? Why do you care? I mean if your comment doesn't add anything to the conversation, and you're not even taking the time to troll... what's the point? Someone please explain; comments like these and "first!" astound me.
Commander Keen @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:25PM
Exactly, Steam does suck.
I'll continue were i left off.
Fuck Steam!
Charron @ Aug 3rd 2007 10:00PM
But you're on Steam now, Keen! They're a revenue source for you! Why are you so hostile? It's bad for business!
Neebs @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:16PM
Holy crap: Every iD game on Steam is $70...$63 right now...
If you said that isn't amazingly good, fuck you and your strange world you live in.
Neebs @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:17PM
FYI: The iD Super Pack is $70, $63 right now.
!
Neebs @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:18PM
gah, ignore this. My comment was slow and I thought it was eaten because I dropped the f-bomb.
mirage @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:28PM
This rocks!! Now where do I add my custom avatar?

mirage @ Aug 4th 2007 3:50AM
Thanks man!
James @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:28PM
Wow! Well I've got a lot of them already, I hope they have that whole serial number=steam feature as some other Steam games have.
Honestly though. Quake, Doom and Commander Keen? They had better be the true definition of micro-transactions or simply free.
AndrewNeo @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:49PM
It surprised me that Q3A was $20. I paid.. $7 for the game just a year ago?
James @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:57PM
Yea some mad pricing there. Keen should be free, Quake at current Keen price, expansion packs $5 each (cept RoE).
Oh, and a proper price conversion for UK sterling would be heavenly. I bought Episode 1 at "$20" and it came to £17. They didn't even tell me how much it was in Sterling till after I purchased. *system might have changed now though, this was a while back*
Other than that I really like Steam. Good to have all my games in 1 place.
Audrey Hwang @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:34PM
I love it when posters on videogame blogs or sites try to get all mature with their comments.
They make it seem like videogames are actually important and try to have intelligent conversations about an adults toy.
It's cute.
Gnome @ Aug 3rd 2007 8:55PM
I'm liking the comment coming from a presumably hot internet asian chick. Make us man-babies wince at our own pretentious statements. Oh, Commander Keen FTW!!
RKN2K @ Aug 3rd 2007 9:47PM
I love it when some random bitch comes into a site DEDICATED TO VIDEO GAMES and says that its posters are immature.
I...I just don't get it. Why the fuck are you here? It doesn't make any sense at all.
Gnome @ Aug 3rd 2007 9:58PM
Dude, calm down you're running my chances of scoring.
MosquitoControl @ Aug 3rd 2007 10:01PM
The pricing is definitely right. $63 for everything is insane.
Audrey Hwang @ Aug 3rd 2007 10:51PM
Gnome: Sorry i'm taken for now.
RKN2K: My girlfriend (Who's a gamer) comes to this site everyday and reads all the articles. I just wanted to see what she found so appealing about reading so called "videogame news".
I just find it sad, cute and weird that people take videogames so seriously. It amazes me that there's so many videogame blogs/sites dedicated to this kind of entertainment.
My girlfriend spends most of her free time playing games and reading videogame blogs/sites. Which means there's less time for me. :( Oh well, i'm hoping she grows out this.
We could be doing more adult things, but she chooses to play videogames more.
Mojo @ Aug 5th 2007 3:05AM
Whoah, whoah slow down a minute... You have a girlfriend? This just keeps getting hotter.
RKN2K @ Aug 4th 2007 9:37AM
"I just find it sad, cute and weird that people take videogames so seriously. It amazes me that there's so many videogame blogs/sites dedicated to this kind of entertainment."
Then *leave*. Just because your girlfriend goes here doesn't mean you have to vent your frustrations of not being able to enjoy "adult things" with her against us. We like our games, and you like...well, it's obvious that you don't belong here and exist only to troll and bash against a certain group of people who like stuff you don't.
Anyway, thanks for telling us the pathetic reason you're trying to claim superiority of us cute little things. Now, that you've failed, you can run along.
Audrey Hwang @ Aug 3rd 2007 11:45PM
Mojo: Yes i have a girlfriend. I'm bi.
Gnome @ Aug 4th 2007 12:14AM
^_^ plz post more, I don't care whatever fanboys you offend.
Luci @ Aug 4th 2007 12:39AM
Does this mean we can expect Enemy Territory: Quake Wars on Steam? cuz that would be awesome
Audrey Hwang @ Aug 4th 2007 1:25AM
Gnome: Sorry Gnome, I don't think that's going to happen.
Gnome @ Aug 4th 2007 1:39AM
Well, at least your communicating that's all I really need. And I noticed Quake 4 missing, even if it was garbage and developed from Ravensoft. -_-
madato @ Aug 4th 2007 3:48AM
@Audrey
Adult stuff? If you like sex, you'll love HL2:DM
I think your girlfriend would agree with me.
Zeus the God @ Aug 4th 2007 10:21AM
Gnome, how dare you call Quake 4 garbage? I'm just kidding, but really, its a fun game (360 users did get shafted) on the PC with lots of modding possibilities.
Miki @ Aug 4th 2007 11:44AM

Hey! chill out. My girlfriend is just being stupid. She was just bored. Don't pay her any mind.
I have to deal with this kind of thing all the time. She also ways trying to act like she's more mature than me. But don't be fooled by her comments.
She's a dork all the time, trust me. :)
Abscissa @ Aug 4th 2007 2:35PM
Cool! Oh wait, that's right, Steam sucks.
zozart @ Aug 4th 2007 4:09PM
I wish my girlfriend liked video games. :\
Oh, topic. The price for the bundle pack seems like a good deal, but I'm not really interested in buying any. I already own Doom 3 and Quake 3 and those are the only two I'd really bother with.
I'd snap up Quake 3 Arena on XBLA, though.
