They tricked me with burning crusade they won't this time around. I am waiting on Warhammer, I am no playing a rushed expansion made to stop a competitor rather than them fixing the game they have now. What was TBC about then? Just seeing how much they can get away with? Nope not this time. A hell of a lot would have to change bewteen now and then to get me to buy this game.

I know, seriously, where the hell is the cinematic trailer? It's the only thing decent about WoW.

Wow awesome,me wants.
I stopped playing WOW few months ago,I loss 20 pounds since then but I gain 30 pounds when I started posting on joystiq :(.
The real reason I stopped was because of the monthly fee,I hate paying with Credit cards.I rather buy Pre-paid cards. The game was great, best RPG I have played Since Diablo 2.
Blizzard should deliver a Diablo MMO,Also I havent bought an expansion for that same Issue. Is a 2004 or 2005 game,I bet the second I start playing WOW The Lich king there is going to be a new expansion or a new hopefully Diablo MMO will be announced.

IMO you should go with WOW rather than Warhammer. The board game rules even if it takes ages to play warhammer but the videogames based on warhammer suck.
Warhammer,Heroclix,Mage knight Shouldnt be turned into Videogames EVER.In the case of MTG only Online and thats it.
Weird but the only Card/Board game that works as a Videogame is Yu-gi-oh,well kinda it works but aint great but it has potential tho' the PSP game was enjoyable.I believe it was the best of the series.

Wut chu talkin bout? The Warhammer RTS games were excellent. And the Warhammer MMO is shaping up to be a top notch PvP experience. Unfortunately I've been hearing it's combat is like EQ(AKA WoW, why did everyone start calling everything a WoW clone when WoW is still an EQ clone?), which is a real turn off for me. Games like Age of Conan that promise more interesting combat and a robust PvP system is what really tingles my dinky.

In my experience (about three months worth of solid addiction), WoW was only a borefest in the higher levels. I can't put my finger on the exact moment it became a grind fest with repetitive and monotonous gameplay, but I finally pulled the plug on my account at lvl 49. I had a friend that I played with who dropped out of college to keep playing though... sad.
WoW was certainly a memorable game at times. It has a lot of depth, but the dang level requirements are just so freakin tedious. I almost get tempted at times to reactivate my account, then I remember it's $15 a month just to level my character 2-3 levels and get ganked 100 more times by upper level pricks.

Meh! Just more shit to add to the pile.
When will MMORPGs die? or when will people get bored of playing them?
Waste of time and money, IMO.

I quit WoW last spring and never looked back. After wasting a year of my life on the game I decided to go back to college and finish my degree. Reality is a lot more rewarding. I didn't give a second look at Burning Crusade and even looking at this I still see a grind fest...The game is basically still the same and nothing has changed.

The only way I would consider buying another expansion is if it didn't have an increased level cap.
I'm starting to get tired of MMO's losing all ingenuity and raising the level cap so that they can inject some longevity into their games. EQ was a great game before the level cap got to extraordinary heights.

If you can't play WoW and maintain a life outside of it, then yes you should not play.
I have a particular friend of mine that could use a bit of that advise...
But for a large group of players, this game is a great option. And despite the $15 a month, a very cost effective form of entertainment.
