If your 360 should ever throw up that crimson gang sign of eternal sleep, the red rings of death, you will be very, very angry. But your anger won't stand a chance against the sheer convenience of Microsoft's new online effort at service.xbox.com. That's right, repairing your broken system just got automated. In addition to registering your console, you'll also be able to schedule repairs and keep track of them once you've sent your baby into that long, dark night. Now, how can you still be mad?
This site also gives you a $5 discount for out-of-warranty repairs, a nice perk completely out-shined by the fact that we won't have to wait on hold to deal with Microsoft's crack customer service team.

thanks for the warrenty extension microsoft. Now, when i recieve my system back and it still doesn't work I can send it back again and wait again for a month until i recieve another system.and again and again and again. How about they just scrap the lemon systems and send out new ones. By the way, how is halo 3. I wouldn't know since i'm still waiting for a working system!

I bought my x box 360 this past Christmas and it's hardware failed this past September never giving the red ring of death. I received a brand new 360 two weeks ago with a mfr. date of Sept 15, 2007. Guess what it gave the red ring of death in the middle of my wife playing a game. We have only had it two weeks!!! I think I am going to go buy a PlayStation 3. This is an absolute joke. I am still angry.
