HMV offering MGS 4 pre-orders for the 360 version [update 1]

While the graphics are badass, the game play looks too slow and tedious for me.

Also, I would think a statue grabbing another statue's junk would raise some suspicions.

the gameplay is as it always has been. plus it is a small segment of the game.

and touching a statue's "junk" is just a bit of humor thrown into the game. while it may look suspicious to us, this is a game afterall. there have been stranger statues in the past erected...lol.

i know the site is called 360fanboys but some you guys take it to much to heart, its just a site that gives you pure 360 info without the BS. So what i stated my opinion that is totally logical. Your saying the games i told you arent system sellers but through out the entire year up until now 360fanboys across the world complained PS3 has no games, the online is gay, and no PSN store content but yet a system with all those problems sold 4.5 million. Hot shot golf sold 225,000 copies in japan. who would of thought that HSG would sell consoles. was that game on one of your console selling list? No, i thought so. Finally PS3 starts getting games, updates and content and 360fanboys change there hate tactics to those arent console sellers BS. Sorry i didnt call myself ISuckMSC*ck but my name comes from an article a few months back when a PS3 killed a 360 with its HEAT. My comment was not biased in anyway but yet some rtards defend the 360 honor like im bashing its potential. im just saying if the PS3 get s a large enough fanbase 360 MGS4 could be cancelled. Im sorry if you dred every minute you play your 360 hoping that it doesnt give you a disc read error or a RRoD. I got the F'in disc read error so the 3 year warrenty doesnt meen sh*t.

I would actually *like* to see MGS come to the 360. I really enjoyed the series on the PS2 (there I said it!)

As others have said, it would make financial sense to port it over to the system with the largest installed userbase.

And I'm not even going to bother with the stupid comments from the small minded, homophobic and racist people about the homo-eroticism in the game. I think thee protest too much! ;o)

I agree with LyLerK, I think those little quirks that are intended to be humourous are just lame. But then a lot would think other humour I like is lame. Different people.

I don't think it would be worth the effort to port it over. Bigger install base or not, if its not Halo, it won't get any airplay on the 360, not any worth porting it over. The "system seller" comments ARE BS though. There are still plenty of PS2 owners saving their pennies for a PS3 when the right games come out. GTA (the top selling games evewr outside of mario) flopped on the 360. Why? Halo. Playstation owners alway got a wider array of games to experience because there were always several killer apps, whether its MG or GTA, or GT, or Tekken, there were always mad games that were sick on the PS. Not that there weren't (aren't) on the 360, but I think most 360 owners got on board for Halo (whether it be 2 or 3). Don't waste your time Konami. Unless you can work master chief in there somewhere, you aren't welcome here. History has spoken...

I would have thought it would have appeared obvious by now that the X360 has a far wider variety of both games and gamers than the Xbox achieve.

I've NEVER played Halo 1 or 2. My first taste was the H3 Beta. And before you start I bought Crackdown for Crackdown not Halo3. Never owned an original xbox and jumped ship from the PS2.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Yes, I'm really looking forward to Halo3 after playing the Beta (almost as much as I was looking forward to Gears) but if you spent any time on this site you would know that there are many, many people on here that aren't just in it for Halo.

And just for the record I'm a proud owner of Viva Pinata too!

@mike: Assclown huh? The numbers don't lie man. Sure, plenty of people play plenty of other games, but Halo will always be the flagship, and other flagship titles don't stand a chance as long as the next Halo (whether that be 3, 4, 5, etc.) is coming. EVERYONE doesn't play Halo, but if you don't think MOST 360 owners play it, then YOU my adolescent friend, are lying to yourself. I don't think Bungie can even let this cash cow die at 3. There will be a gang of spin-offs from Halo. Its the king of the 360. Don't see how I'm so wrong there...
